The 2016 ITF Women's Circuit – Shenzhen was a professional tennis tournament played on outdoor hard courts. It was the second edition of the tournament and part of the 2016 ITF Women's Circuit, offering a total of $50,000 in prize money. It took place in Shenzhen, China, on 11–17 April 2016.

Wang Yafan and Xu Yifan were the defending champions, but both players chose to participate in Anning and Madrid instead, respectively.

Raluca Olaru and Xu Yifan were the defending champions, but both players chose not to participate.

Chang Kai-chen and Han Xinyun were the defending champions, but chose not to partner each other. Chang partnered Duan Yingying, while Han partnered Zhang Kailin. The two teams faced in the quarterfinals with Chang and Duan prevailing.
