2016 LEB Oro playoffs

The 2016 LEB Oro playoffs is the final stage of the 2015–16 LEB Oro season. They will start on 22 April 2016, and will finish on 31 May. [1]

Contents

The quarterfinals will be played in a best-of-3 games format, while the semifinals and the finals in a best-of-5 games format. The best seeded team plays at home the games 1, 2 and 5 if necessary. The winner of the finals will promote to the 2016–17 ACB season with Quesos Cerrato Palencia, the champion of the regular season.

The 306-game regular season will begin on Friday, September 23, 2010, and will end on Friday, April 27, 2011. The champion of the regular season will be promoted to Liga ACB. The teams between 2nd and 9th position will play a best of 5 games play off, where the winner will be promoted too to the higher division. The 2017–18 LEB Oro season was the 22nd season of the Spanish basketball second league. It started on 29 September 2017 with the first round of the regular season and ended on 12 June 2018 with the final.

Diego Epifanio Carbonero, also known as "Epi", is a Spanish basketball coach who currently works for Cafés Candelas Breogán of the LEB Oro.

The 2018–19 LEB Oro season was the 23rd season of the Spanish basketball second league. It started on 5 October 2018 with the first round of the regular season and ended on 2 June 2019 with the final.

The 2019–20 LEB Oro season was the 24th season of the Spanish basketball second league. It started on 25 September 2019 with the first round of the regular season and was curtailed on 25 May 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The 2020–21 LEB Oro season is the 25th season of the Spanish basketball second league. It started on 16 October 2020 with the first round of the regular season and will end on 19 June 2021 with the final.
