The 2017 WMF World Cup was the second edition of the WMF World Cup organized by the World Minifootball Federation (WMF). The tournament was contested in Nabeul in Tunisia between 6 and 15 October 2017. [1] The tournament has been expanded by increasing the number of participating teams to 24. United States are the defending champions. [2] Czech Republic defeated Mexico 3–0 in the final, to win the title. [3] [4]
Tunisia was awarded the right to host the event on 27 August 2016. [5] All the matches are played at the Nabeul Minifootball Stadium in Nabeul on the south coast of the Cape Bon. This stadium is temporary built to host the competition and is stripped down after the end of the event. [6] The most prominent challenges and concerns of hosting was Islamic State insurgency in Tunisia.

On 11 June 2017, the Executive bureau of the World Minifootball Federation had unanimously decided in Brno, Czech Republic that the 2017 World Cup will be organized from 6 October to 16 October 2017. [7] On 6 September 2017, The final draw for 2017 WMF World Cup was made in Tunis. [8] For the draw, the 24 teams were divided into four seeding pots:

Indoor soccer or arena soccer is a form of five-a-side or six-a-side version of minifootball. It is derived from association football and adapted to be played in walled hardcourt indoor arena. It is a different sport to the FIFA-sanctioned indoor football sport of Futsal.
The Tunisian Football Federation is the governing body of football in Tunisia. It established on 29 March 1957. It became a member in the FIFA in 1960, and in the same year it also became a member of CAF association. The federation also joined the UAFA in 1976 and the UNAF in 2005.
Tunisia has participated six times in the FIFA World Cup, the biggest men's football event in the world, in 1978, 1998, 2002, 2006, 2018 and 2022. Tunisia has never been able to advance past the group stage on any of these occasions; they have played eighteen games, winning three, with five draws and ten defeats. The selection played its first qualifying match for a World Cup on 30 October 1960 against Morocco at the Stade d'Honneur, Casablanca.

The tournament was contested in Tripoli in Libya between 5 and 12 May 2018. Ivory Coast defeated Senegal 3–1 by penalties after a 3–3 draw in the final, to win the title. This tournament served as the qualification for the 2019 WMF World Cup for the best four teams.
The 2019 WMF World Cup was the third edition of the WMF World Cup organized by the World Minifootball Federation (WMF). The tournament was contested in Perth in Australia between 1 and 11 October 2019. The tournament has been expanded by increasing the number of participating teams to 32. Czech Republic are the defending champions. Mexico two times runner-up defeated Brazil 4–0 in the final, to win the title.
The 2021 African Minifootball Cup also called AFCON Minifoot, was the second edition of the African Minifootball Cup held by the African Minifootball Confederation (AMC). The tournament was held in Nigeria. Initially set to hold in 2020, it was postponed to 2021 due to COVID-19. It was huge success even with covid situation in Nigeria.

Tunisian MiniFootball Federation is the governing body of minifootball in Tunisia. It was established in 2016. It became a member of the WMF in 2016, and joined AMF association the same year. The 2017–18 Tunisian Super Cup was the 14th edition of the Tunisian Super Cup, a football match contested by the winners of the 2017–18 Tunisian Ligue Professionnelle 1 and 2017–18 Tunisian Cup competitions. The match was played on April 1, 2019 at Abdullah bin Khalifa Stadium in Doha, Qatar, between 2017–18 Ligue Professionnelle 1 winners, Espérance de Tunis, and CA Bizertin, semifinalist of the 2017–18 Tunisian Cup, as an alternative to Club Africain, the winners of said tournament. Esperance won the title for the fourth time in its history in the first edition since 18 years.
This article relates the participation of Tunisia during the 2022 FIFA World Cup organized in Qatar from 20 November to 18 December 2022. This is the country's sixth participation in the competition after 1978, 1998, 2002, 2006 and 2018. Tunisia meets France, Denmark and Australia in Group D. For the sixth time, Tunisia failed to qualify for the second round of the World Cup, as Tunisia finished the tournament ranked 21st after a 0–0 draw with Denmark, a 0–1 defeat against Australia and a 1–0 victory over France.

The 2024 African Minifootball Cup is the third edition of the African Minifootball Cup held by the African Minifootball Confederation (AMC). The tournament was held in South Africa from 20 to 29 September 2024. The tournament was initially planed to be held from 19 to 26 May 2024 but it was finally postponed to September 2024.
The 2025 African Minifootball Cup will be the fourth edition of the African Minifootball Cup organised by the African Minifootball Confederation (AMC). The tournament will be held in the city of Derna in Libya from 16 to 25 April 2025, With the expansion of the tournament to sixteen teams, this is the second time Libya will host the event. South Africa are the defending champions.
The 2019 WMF Continental Cup was the inaugural edition of the WMF Continental Cup organized by the World Minifootball Federation. The tournament was contested in Tunis in Tunisia between 14 and 16 March 2019. Czech Republic defeated hosts Tunisia 5–4 in the final, to win the title.
The 2025 WMF World Cup will be the fifth edition of the WMF World Cup organized by the World Minifootball Federation (WMF). The tournament will be played in Baku in Azerbaijan between 21 May to 1 June 2025. Romania are the defending champions.
The Czech Republic national minifootball team represents Czech Republic in men's international minifootball competitions and it is controlled by the Minifootball Association of the Czech Republic, which governs minifootball in Czech Republic. The team is one of the most successful in the world, having won the 2017 WMF World Cup, the 2019 WMF Continental Cup and the 2018 EMF EURO.
