The 2019 WMF World Cup was the third edition of the WMF World Cup organized by the World Minifootball Federation (WMF). The tournament was contested in Perth in Australia between 1 and 11 October 2019. The tournament has been expanded by increasing the number of participating teams to 32. Czech Republic are the defending champions. [1] Mexico two times runner-up defeated Brazil 4–0 in the final, to win the title. [2] [3]
Australia was awarded the right to host the event on 27 June 2018. [4] All the matches are played at the Perth Minifoot Stadium in Langley Park in Perth.

Indoor soccer or arena soccer is a form of five-a-side or six-a-side version of minifootball. It is derived from association football and adapted to be played in walled hardcourt indoor arena. It is a different sport to the FIFA-sanctioned indoor football sport of Futsal.
The Israel women's national football team represents Israel in international women's football. The Israel women's national football team was established in 1997. Women's football in Israel was developed as an upside down pyramid by first opening the national team and then after 2 years opening the first women's football league in Israel. Women's Football in Israel is struggling to develop because it is lacking investment.
The World Minifootball Federation (WMF) is the global governing body for mainly 5 and 6-a-side versions of minifootball. WMF exists to promote, supervise and direct minifootball growth, focusing on amateur players.
The WMF World Cup, is an international minifootball competition among the senior men's national teams of the members of the World Minifootball Federation (WMF), the sport's global governing body. The tournament is played as six-a-side 50-minute format.
The 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup was the ninth edition of the FIFA Women's World Cup, the quadrennial international women's football championship contested by women's national teams and organised by FIFA. The tournament, which took place from 20 July to 20 August 2023, was jointly hosted by Australia and New Zealand. It was the first FIFA Women's World Cup with more than one host nation, as well as the first World Cup to be held across multiple confederations, as Australia is in the Asian confederation, while New Zealand is in the Oceanian confederation. It was also the first Women's World Cup to be held in the Southern Hemisphere.

The second round of AFC matches for 2018 FIFA World Cup qualification was played from 24 May 2015 to 29 March 2016.
Minifootball is a small-sided variation of football. Minifootball is played in 5-a-side format, with additional variants of 6-a-side, 7-a-side, 8-a-side, 9-a-side and indoor football. All games are played on astro turf, while futsal is played on a hard court indoors. The highest global authority for the 5-a-side format is the World Minifootball Federation (WMF). The 6-a-side format is governed by the International Football Federation, while the 7-a-side format is governed by several sub-continental bodies, including the IFA7 and FIF7. In recent years, minifootball has grown in popularity globally. The term minifootball refers to small-sided football that is open to both professional and amateur players. The WMF organizes its own World Cup every 2 years, as well as continental championships through established national federations.
The third round of the 2019 AFC Asian Cup qualification was played from 26 March 2017 to 27 March 2018.
The 2017 WMF World Cup was the second edition of the WMF World Cup organized by the World Minifootball Federation (WMF). The tournament was contested in Nabeul in Tunisia between 6 and 15 October 2017. The tournament has been expanded by increasing the number of participating teams to 24. United States are the defending champions. Czech Republic defeated Mexico 3–0 in the final, to win the title.
The Tunisia national minifootball team represents Tunisia in men's international Minifootball competitions and it is controlled by the Tunisian Minifootball Federation (FTMF), which governs minifootball in Tunisia. On the continental level, the team competes under the African Minifootball Confederation (AMC), which governs associate football in Africa, and is also affiliated with World Minifootball Federation (WMF) for global competitions. The team is colloquially known as Eagles of Carthage by fans and the media, with the bald eagle serving as its symbol. Their home kit is primarily red and their away kit is white, which is a reference to the national flag of Tunisia. The team has qualified for the WMF World Cup two times, qualified for the African Minifootball Cup one time, competed in one edition of WMF Continental Cup where he finished in second place and one participation in the Arab Minifootball Cup.
The 2018 African Minifootball Cup was the first edition of the African Minifootball Cup held by the African Minifootball Confederation. The tournament was contested in Tripoli in Libya between 5 and 12 May 2018. Ivory Coast defeated Senegal 3–1 by penalties after a 3–3 draw in the final, to win the title. This tournament served as the qualification for the 2019 WMF World Cup for the best four teams.
The AFC second round of 2022 FIFA World Cup qualification, which also served as the second round of 2023 AFC Asian Cup qualification, was played from 5 September 2019 to 15 June 2021.
The second round of CAF matches for 2022 FIFA World Cup qualification was played over six matchdays, from 1 September to 16 November 2021.
The 2021 African Minifootball Cup also called AFCON Minifoot, was the second edition of the African Minifootball Cup held by the African Minifootball Confederation (AMC). The tournament was held in Nigeria. Initially set to hold in 2020, it was postponed to 2021 due to COVID-19. It was huge success even with covid situation in Nigeria.
The 2023 WMF World Cup was the fourth edition of the WMF World Cup organized by the World Minifootball Federation (WMF). The tournament was contested in Ras Al Khaimah in the United Arab Emirates between 26 October and 4 November 2023. Mexico are the are the defending champions. Romania defeated Kazakhstan 12–11 by penalties after a 2–2 draw in the final, to win the title.
The 2024 African Minifootball Cup is the third edition of the African Minifootball Cup held by the African Minifootball Confederation (AMC). The tournament was held in South Africa from 20 to 29 September 2024. The tournament was initially planed to be held from 19 to 26 May 2024 but it was finally postponed to September 2024.
The 2025 African Minifootball Cup will be the fourth edition of the African Minifootball Cup organised by the African Minifootball Confederation (AMC). The tournament will be held in the city of Derna in Libya from 16 to 25 April 2025, With the expansion of the tournament to sixteen teams, this is the second time Libya will host the event. South Africa are the defending champions.
The 2019 WMF Continental Cup was the inaugural edition of the WMF Continental Cup organized by the World Minifootball Federation. The tournament was contested in Tunis in Tunisia between 14 and 16 March 2019. Czech Republic defeated hosts Tunisia 5–4 in the final, to win the title.
The Czech Republic national minifootball team represents Czech Republic in men's international minifootball competitions and it is controlled by the Minifootball Association of the Czech Republic, which governs minifootball in Czech Republic. The team is one of the most successful in the world, having won the 2017 WMF World Cup, the 2019 WMF Continental Cup and the 2018 EMF EURO.
