The 2019 Men's Roller Hockey World Cup was the 44th edition of the Roller Hockey World Cup, organised by World Skate. The tournament was held in Spain, in the city of Barcelona, as part of the 2019 World Roller Games.

Contents

Competition format

Teams qualified to the three cups by their continental tournaments. Finally, eight teams composed the World Championship (first tier) and the Intercontinental Championship (second tier), while twelve teams composed the Challenger's Championship.

Teams were divided into groups of four teams for composing the group stage. The two last qualified teams of the World Championship and the two group winners of the Intercontinental Championship faced in a playoff where the two winners played the knockout stage of the World Cup. This playoff was played between the two best group winners of the Challenger's Cup and the two last qualified teams of the Intercontinental Championship.

The World Skate Roller Hockey World Cup is the international championship for roller hockey organized by World Skate. The first event was held in 1936, in the city of Stuttgart. Since 1989, the World Championship tournament is held every two years on the odd years. Until 2017, it was organized by the Fédération Internationale de Roller Sports. As of 2019, following the merge between the FIRS and the International Skateboarding Federation, the World Cup is now an event of the larger World Roller Games.

The 2010 IIHF InLine Hockey World Championship was the 15th IIHF InLine Hockey World Championship, the premier annual international inline hockey tournament. It took place between 28 June and 4 July in Sweden. The games were played in the Löfbergs Lila Arena in Karlstad. The US team won the final against the Czech Republic 4–3 won their fifth title.

2010 FIRS Mens Inline Hockey World Championships

The 2010 FIRS Men's Inline Hockey World Championships was the 16th FIRS Men's Inline Hockey World Championships, an annual international inline hockey tournament organised by the International Roller Sports Federation. It took place between 12 and 17 July 2010 in Beroun, Czech Republic. The United States team was the defending champion, having won the previous two championships.

Champions Hockey League Ice hockey tournament launched 2014

The Champions Hockey League is a European ice hockey tournament. Launched in the 2014–15 season by 26 clubs, 6 leagues and the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF), the tournament features top teams from the first-tier leagues of countries across Europe.

The 2017 FIRS Men's Roller Hockey World Cup was the 43rd edition of the Roller Hockey World Cup, organised by the Fédération Internationale de Roller Sports (FIRS). The tournament was held for the first time in China, in the city of Nanjing, from 3 to 9 September 2017, as part of the 2017 World Roller Games. Spain won his 17th title, defeating Portugal, who returned to the final, after an eleven years absence, in penalties.

2018–19 Rink Hockey Euroleague International football competition

The 2018–19 Rink Hockey Euroleague is the 54th season of Europe's premier club roller hockey tournament organised by World Skate Europe-Rink Hockey Committee, and the 22nd season since it was renamed from European Champion Clubs' Cup to Euroleague.

The 2018 Roller Hockey Asia Cup was the 18th edition of this tournament, played in Namwon, South Korea between 7 and 13 September 2018. Australia conquered their first title ever.

The 2019–20 Champions Hockey League is the sixth season of the Champions Hockey League, a European ice hockey tournament. 32 teams are competing in the tournament, and qualification was on sporting merits only. The six founding leagues are represented by between three and five teams, while seven "challenge leagues" are represented by one team each. One place was awarded to the champion of the 2018–19 Champions Hockey League as well as a wild card spot selected by the board. Unlike in the first three editions of the tournament, founding teams did not automatically qualify.

The 2020–21 Rink Hockey Euroleague is the 56th season of Europe's premier club roller hockey tournament organised by World Skate Europe – Rink Hockey, and the 24th season since it was renamed from European Champion Clubs' Cup to Euroleague.
