The 2018 LEN Super Cup was the 37th edition of the LEN Super Cup, an annual water polo match organised by LEN and contested by the reigning champions of the two main European club competitions, the top-tier LEN Champions League and the second-tier LEN Euro Cup. The match was played between European champions Olympiacos, the winners of the 2017–18 LEN Champions League, and Ferencváros, the winners of the 2017–18 LEN Euro Cup.

The LEN Women's Euro Cup, formerly the Women's LEN Trophy, is LEN's second-tier competition for women's water polo clubs. It was first held in 2000 as the LEN Women's Cup Winners' Cup. It was contested for many seasons by around 15 teams, which could qualify for it either directly due to high ranking in their domestic league or by being eliminated at certain stages of the Champions' Cup. After the last reformations in the European competitions system by LEN, only four teams contesting for the trophy, coming after elimination at that season's LEN Euro League quarterfinals stage. Italy's Gifa Palermo, Ortigia, Racing Roma, Imperia, Russia's Shturm Ruza, and Greece's Ethnikos Piraeus are the most successful clubs in the competition with two titles each.

Olympiacos Women's Water Polo Club is the women's water polo department of the major Greek multi-sport club Olympiacos, based in Piraeus. The department was founded in 1988 and they play their games at the 1000-seated Papastrateio "Petros Kapagerof" Pool in Piraeus.

And it is the first year with the expanded format and presence of the LEN Challenger Cup. The winners were A-Híd Vasas Plaket of Hungary, who defeated RN Savona of Italy on aggregate 23-15 in the final.

The 2023 LEN Women's Super Cup was the 17th edition of the annual trophy organised by LEN and contested by the reigning champions of the two European competitions for women's water polo clubs. The match was between European champions Astralpool Sabadell of Spain and UVSE Budapest of Hungary. The match was held on 7 November 2023. Astralpool Sabadell won a record fourth title, winning the final 14–11.
