The 2018 New Zealand Warriors season was the 24th season in the club's history. Coached by Stephen Kearney and captained by Roger Tuivasa-Sheck, the Warriors completed the National Rugby League's 2018 Telstra Premiership regular season in the number eight position, qualifying for the finals. [1] They were defeated in the 1st Elimination Final by Penrith and did not progress further. [2]

Pre-season training

Pre-season training began on 1 November, with the exception of 14 players involved in the 2017 Rugby League World Cup. [3]

Pre-season matches

The Warriors and Melbourne will headline a two-day festival in Rotorua that includes a regional nines tournament. [4]

Regular season

Home matches were played at Mount Smart Stadium in Auckland, [6] while one away game was also played in New Zealand, at AMI Stadium in Christchurch.

The Warriors opened their season in Perth against the South Sydney Rabbitohs on 10 March as part of a double header at Perth Stadium. Mount Smart Stadium will hosted a double header on 7 April when the Warriors played the North Queensland Cowboys and the Wests Tigers played the Melbourne Storm. [7]

The 2017 New Zealand Warriors season was the 23rd season in the club's history. Coached by Stephen Kearney and captained by Roger Tuivasa-Sheck, the Warriors competed in the National Rugby League's 2017 Telstra Premiership. They also competed in the 2017 NRL Auckland Nines tournament.

The 2017 NRL season is the 110th season of professional rugby league in Australia and the 20th season run by the National Rugby League. The season started in with the annual Auckland Nines, and was followed by the All Stars Match. Round 1 commenced on 2 March with 2016 premiers Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks playing Brisbane Broncos.

The 2017 Brisbane Broncos season is the 30th in the club's history. Coached by Wayne Bennett, and captained by Darius Boyd, they compete in the NRL's 2017 Telstra Premiership. Prior to the start of the Premiership season, the Broncos competed in the 2017 NRL Auckland Nines, finishing first in their pool, but lost the Quarter-Final.
