The 2018 PRISAA National Games was the 2018 edition of the annual sports competition for student-athletes from privately-owned schools throughout the 17 regions of the Philippines. The National Games is organized by the Private Schools Athletic Association (PRISAA).
The games were hosted by Bohol and ran from April 22–27, 2018. [1] The opening ceremony was held at the Carlos P. Garcia Sports Complex and the closing ceremony was held at the Bohol Cultural Center, both located in Tagbilaran City, Bohol. [1]
This was the first time that Bohol hosted the games, after 71 years. [2]
At the end of the event, Central Visayas dominated the PRISAA National Games with 255 medals, claiming their fourth-straight overall seniors championship. [3]
An estimated number of 4,000 student-athletes from 17 (formerly 18 due to dissolution of the Negros Island Region in 2017) regions in the country participated in 18 regular sports and non-sporting competitions. [2]

This festival commemorates the Treaty of Friendship between Datu Sikatuna, a chieftain in Bohol, and Spanish conquistador Miguel López de Legazpi. This 16th-century peace treaty occurred on March 16, 1565 through a blood compact or "sandugo".

After winning the SK presidency in Bohol, Philippines, Cajes was elected President in the National SK Federation and with her position, also earned her a concomitant role as the Ex Officio Commissioner of the National Youth Commission (NYC).

The 2013 Palarong Pambansa, also known as the 2013 PALARO, was the 56th edition of the annual multi-sporting event held in Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental from April 21 to 27, 2013. Around 10,000 student athletes from 17 regions of the Philippines competed for the tournament, while the announced gold medalists and record breakers of this year received cash prizes for the first time. The motto for this edition was Sports: Road to Peace and Progress, promoting education, health, development and peace.
The 2015 Palarong Pambansa was the 58th edition of the annual multi-sporting event for Filipino student-athletes. The games were held in Tagum, Davao del Norte from 3 to 9 May 2015. This is the first hosting of the Province of Davao del Norte, 60 years after it hosted the Palarong Pambansa as part of the larger Davao province. Tagum hosts most of the venues and billeting centers while the municipalities of Carmen, Sto. Tomas, New Corella, and Kapalong, and the cities of Panabo and Samal Island provided additional billeting centers and venues for the delegates. The events were mostly held within the Davao del Norte Sports and Tourism Complex, including the opening and closing ceremonies.

Student athletes from 17 athletic associations representing the 17 regions of the Philippines competed in different sporting events and disciplines.
