The 2018 Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup was the twelfth season of the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup. The season, for the sixth year contested by the riders on equal KTM 250cc 4-stroke Moto3 bikes, was held over 12 races in seven meetings on the Grand Prix motorcycle racing calendar, beginning at Jerez on 5 May and ending on 23 September at MotorLand Aragón. Turkish rider Can Öncü won the championship, securing the title after the Misano race. [1]

The races, for the first year contested by the riders on equal KTM 250cc 4-stroke Moto3 bikes, were held at eight meetings on the Grand Prix motorcycle racing calendar.

Starting its third season, the 2009 Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup season continued the search for future World Champions. The 2009 season begins with two races during the Spanish Grand Prix weekend at Jerez on May 2 and May 3 and ends with another double header at the Czech Republic Grand Prix in Brno on August 15 and August 16. Another six European GPs see single Rookies races on each Saturday, making it an eight-race championship, which is two more races than the last season.

2014 MotoGP World Championship

The 2014 FIM MotoGP World Championship was the premier class of the 66th F.I.M. Road Racing World Championship season. Marc Márquez started the season as the defending riders' champion in the MotoGP category, with Honda the defending manufacturers' champions.

2015 MotoGP World Championship

The 2015 FIM MotoGP World Championship was the premier class of the 67th F.I.M. Road Racing World Championship season. The championship was won by Spanish rider Jorge Lorenzo, racing for Monster Energy Yamaha Factory. It was his third and final world title in the MotoGP category, his fifth overall in Grand Prix motorcycle racing. The season had 18 races, beginning in Qatar and finishing in Valencia, which determined who would be world champion between Monster Energy Yamaha teammates Lorenzo and runner-up Valentino Rossi. It was first time since 2006 that the world title was decided on the final race of the season. Lorenzo also had the most pole positions, fastest laps and race wins throughout the season; while Rossi had the most finishes, completing every race throughout the season, while Lorenzo had one race retirement in San Marino.

The 2014 FIM Moto3 World Championship was a part of the 66th F.I.M. Road Racing World Championship season. Maverick Viñales was the reigning series champion, but did not contest the season as he moved to the series' intermediate class, Moto2.

The 2015 FIM Moto3 World Championship was a part of the 67th F.I.M. Road Racing World Championship season. Álex Márquez was the reigning series champion but he did not defend his title as he joined the series' intermediate class, Moto2. Danny Kent became Great Britain's first Grand Prix motorcycle world champion since Barry Sheene in 1977, by winning the championship at the final race of the season in Valencia. Leopard Racing rider Kent started the season with wins at three of the first four races and his lowest finish in the first half of the season was fourth, leading the championship by 66 points at the mid-season break. He only visited the podium once in the second half of the season – a victory at Silverstone – as Enea Bastianini and latterly, Miguel Oliveira started to cut into his advantage. Oliveira trailed Kent by 110 points with 6 races remaining, but finished with 4 wins and 2 seconds in those races, and took the championship race to the final event as he became the closest challenger to Kent. Ultimately, Kent's ninth-place finish in Valencia gave him the championship by six points over Oliveira; both riders finished with six wins each, as Oliveira became Portugal's first motorcycle Grand Prix race-winner. Bastianini finished third in the championship, fifty-three points behind Kent; he won one race during the season, at Misano.

The 2015 FIM Moto2 World Championship was a part of the 67th F.I.M. Road Racing World Championship season. Marc VDS Racing Team rider Esteve Rabat started the season as the defending riders' champion, having won his first championship title in 2014.

2016 Moto2 World Championship

The 2016 FIM Moto2 World Championship was a part of the 68th F.I.M. Road Racing World Championship season. The season was marred by the death of Luis Salom during a free practice session, at the Catalan Grand Prix.

The 2016 FIM Moto3 World Championship was a part of the 68th F.I.M. Road Racing World Championship season. Danny Kent was the reigning series champion but did not defend his title as he joined the series' intermediate class, Moto2.

The races, for the third year contested by the riders on equal KTM 250cc 4-stroke Moto3 bikes, were held at seven meetings on the Grand Prix motorcycle racing calendar.

The 2016 Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup was the tenth season of the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup. After the selection event held from 16 to 18 October 2015 at Circuito Guadix in Spain and pre-season testing, held from 1 to 4 April 2016 in Jerez, the season began at the same track on 23 April and ended on 25 September at the Ciudad del Motor de Aragón after 13 races. The races, for the fourth year contested by the riders on equal KTM 250cc 4-stroke Moto3 bikes, were held at seven meetings on the Grand Prix motorcycle racing calendar. The championship was won by Japanese rider Ayumu Sasaki at the last race.

The season, for the fifth year contested by the riders on equal KTM 250cc 4-stroke Moto3 bikes, was held over 13 races in seven meetings on the Grand Prix motorcycle racing calendar, beginning at Jerez on 6 May and ending on 24 September at the MotorLand Aragón. Japanese rider Kazuki Masaki won the championship, securing the title after the first Aragón race.

The 2019 Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup was the thirteenth season of the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup. The season, for the seventh year contested by the riders on equal KTM 250cc 4-stroke Moto3 bikes, was held over 12 races in seven meetings on the Grand Prix motorcycle racing calendar, beginning at Jerez on 4 May and ending on 22 September at MotorLand Aragón. Spanish rider Carlos Tatay won the championship, securing the title after the Misano race.

The 2020 FIM Moto3 World Championship was a part of the 72nd F.I.M. Road Racing World Championship season. The season calendar has been significantly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, leading to the cancellation or postponement of many races.

2020 Valencian Community motorcycle Grand Prix

The 2020 Valencian Community motorcycle Grand Prix was the fourteenth round of the 2020 Grand Prix motorcycle racing season and the thirteenth round of the 2020 MotoGP World Championship. It was held at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia on 15 November 2020.
