The 2018 Touring Car Masters was an Australian motor racing series for Touring Cars manufactured between 1 January 1963 and 31 December 1978, IROC Porsche automobiles and Trans Am Class automobiles. [1] It was the twelfth annual Touring Car Masters series. Each car competing in the series was allocated into one the following classes: Pro Masters, Pro Am, Pro Sport, IROC (Porsche), Trans Am. [1]
The series was won by Steve Johnson [2] driving a Ford Mustang. [3]

Sports car racing is a form of motorsport road racing which utilises sports cars that have two seats and enclosed wheels. They may be purpose-built (Prototype) or related to road-going models. Broadly speaking, sports car racing is one of the main types of circuit auto racing, alongside open-wheel single-seater racing, touring car racing and stock car racing. Sports car races are often endurance races that are run over relatively large distances, and there is usually a larger emphasis placed on the reliability and efficiency of the car than in some of the other types of auto racing. The FIA World Endurance Championship is an example of a sports car racing series.
Mark Neary Donohue Jr., nicknamed "Captain Nice," and later "Dark Monohue," was an American race car driver and engineer known for his ability to set up his own race car as well as driving it to victories.
Dorsey Schroeder is an American race car driver. Since August 2015, he has served as Race Director for the Pirelli World Challenge series and since 2018 Race Director for the Trans Am Series presented by Pirelli SCCA Pro Racing. Over the course of his career in Sports car racing, he has won 40 professional races in 242 starts, including seventeen Trans-Am series wins. He also oversees the competition on-track at SVRA events and enjoys racing vintage cars.
Peter Holden Gregg was an American race car driver during the golden age of the Trans-Am Series and a four-time winner of the 24 Hours of Daytona. He was also the owner of Brumos, a Jacksonville, Florida car dealership and racing team.
Jack Baldwin is a race car driver. Jack Baldwin is a legend in road racing, with wins in every series that he has competed in, as well as victories at every major race track in the United States during his successful career that has spanned four decades. Jack has won 5 professional Championships and over 30 major pro races that include one Daytona 24 Hour win and two 12 hours of Sebring wins. Jack was invited twice to compete in the prestigious International Race of Champions (IROC) and has driven all types of race cars over the decades. 2013 was his 25th running of the Rolex 24 Hours at Daytona. Baldwin currently drives a Porsche Cayman S for GTSport Racing in the Pirelli World Challenge and is the most successful Porsche Cayman S driver in the world with seven wins, over a dozen pole positions and twenty-plus podium finishes.
IMSA GT was a sports car racing series organized by International Motor Sports Association. Races took place primarily in the United States, and occasionally in Canada.
The 2003 Bathurst 24 Hour was a motor race staged at the Mount Panorama Circuit just outside Bathurst in New South Wales, Australia. The race started at 2:00pm on 22 November 2003 and finished at 2:00pm on 23 November. It was the second Bathurst 24 Hour.
Porsche Carrera Cup Australia is an Australian motor racing series open to Porsche 911 GT3 Cup cars. First held in 2003, it is administered by Porsche Cars Australia Pty Ltd and was sanctioned by CAMS as a national championship through to 2015 and as a National Series from 2016. During its history, Carrera Cup has been a leading support category for the Supercars Championship. New Zealand driver Craig Baird has been the most successful driver, winning the series five times.
The 2012 Porsche City Index Australian Carrera Cup Championship was an Australian motor racing competition for Porsche 911 GT3 Cup cars. It was sanctioned by the Confederation of Australian Motor Sport (CAMS) as a National Championship, and was recognised by them as the eighth Australian Carrera Cup Championship. Porsche Cars Australia Pty Ltd was appointed as the Category Manager by CAMS for the Championship.
The 2012 Kerrick Sports Sedan Series was an Australian motor racing competition for Group 3D Sports Sedans. The series commenced on 14 April at Mallala Motor Sport Park and concluded on 14 October at Wakefield Park after fifteen races. 2012 was the 28th year in which a national championship or national series for Sports Sedans had been contested in Australia.

It was the seventh annual Touring Car Masters series.
The 2015 FIA World Endurance Championship season was the fourth season of the FIA World Endurance Championship auto racing series, co-organized by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) and the Automobile Club de l'Ouest (ACO). The series was open to Le Mans Prototypes and grand tourer-style racing cars meeting four ACO categories. World championship titles were awarded for Le Mans Prototypes drivers and for manufacturers in the LMP1 category, and several World Endurance Cups and Endurance Trophies were also awarded in all four categories. The season began at the Silverstone Circuit in April and ended at the Bahrain International Circuit in November after eight rounds, and included the 83rd running of the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

The series commenced at The Bend Motorsport Park on 13 April and concluded at Sydney Motorsport Park on 22 September. 2017 series winner Jordan Love opted not to defend his title, instead concentrating his efforts on the 2018 Porsche Carrera Cup Australia.
