The 2019 CRO Race is a road cycling stage race that took place in Croatia between 1 and 6 October 2019. It is the fifth edition of the race through Croatia organized by Top Sport Event company, but first under new name and logo. The race is rated as a 2.1 event as part of the 2019 UCI Europe Tour.

Transport in Croatia relies on several main modes, including transport by car, train, ship and plane. Road transport incorporates a comprehensive network of state, county and local routes augmented by a network of highways for long-distance travelling. Kerestinec is a village (naselje) west of Zagreb, in the Sveta Nedelja, Zagreb County municipality, infamous for events in Croatian history. It has 1,433 inhabitants living on an area of 4.71 square kilometers (1.82 sq mi).

The 1992 Croatian First Football League was the first season of the top Croatian football league. It was the inaugural season of the league established following Croatia's independence from Yugoslavia. Affected by the political and social upheavals stemming from the breakup of Yugoslavia and the early stages of the 1991–95 war, the season was drastically shortened and played over the course of less than four months, from 29 February to 13 June.

Sport in Croatia has significant role in Croatian culture, and many local sports clubs as well as the Croatian national squads enjoy strong followings in the country. The most enduring sport by far in Croatia is football, and is played on amateur and professional levels amongst all age groups across the entire country. Several other major team sports are handball, basketball and water polo, with clubs in all parts of Croatia. Ice hockey is another popular team sport, namely in the Croatian interior. The most popular individual sports in Croatia are tennis, alpine skiing, and swimming, and to some extent table tennis and chess. Various amateur sport games are popular in Croatia, notably picigin.

The 2014 Tour de France was the 101st edition of the race, one of cycling's Grand Tours. The 3,660.5-kilometre (2,274.5 mi) race included 21 stages, starting in Leeds, Yorkshire, United Kingdom, on 5 July and finishing on the Champs-Élysées in Paris on 27 July. The race also visited Belgium for part of a stage. Vincenzo Nibali of the Astana team won the overall general classification by more than seven minutes, the biggest winning margin since 1997. By winning, he had acquired victories in all Grand Tours. Jean-Christophe Péraud placed second, with Thibaut Pinot (FDJ.fr) third.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">CRO Race</span> Croatian multi-day road cycling race

The CRO Race is a men's road cycling stage race that takes place in Croatia since 2015. It is part of the UCI Europe Tour and is rated by the UCI as a 2.1 event, the third tier of professional stage races. The event is organised by Top Sport Events of Vladimir Miholjević, a former professional cyclist. The race was originally held in April in the build-up to the Giro d'Italia, but from 2019 race is held in September and October.

The 2015 Tour of Croatia was the first edition of the Tour of Croatia cycling stage race. It started on 22 April in Makarska and ended on 26 April in Zagreb, and consisted of five stages. It was part of the 2015 UCI Europe Tour, and was rated as a 2.1 event. The race was won by Maciej Paterski (CCC–Sprandi–Polkowice), who also won two stages, the points classification and the mountains classification. The second-placed rider was Primož Roglič, while Paterski's teammate Sylwester Szmyd was third. CCC–Sprandi–Polkowice also won the team competition.

Tribanj is a village in the municipality of Starigrad, Zadar County, north Dalmatia. The village consists of seven hamlets: Kozjača, Kruščica, Lisarica, Ljubotić, Običaj, Sveta Marija Magdalena, and Šibuljina. In a geopolitical context, Tribanj was the border of Austrian Kingdom of Dalmatia in the 19th century, and is still viewed as a cultural border between Dalmatia and Croatian Littoral. It is situated on the southern slopes of Velebit mountain, also known as Podgorje.

The 2017 BinckBank Tour was a road cycling stage race that took place between 7 and 13 August in the Netherlands and Belgium. It was a continuation of the Eneco Tour but was renamed following a change in title sponsor. As such, it was the 13th edition, the first one under the name BinckBank Tour. It was also the 29th event of the 2017 UCI World Tour. It was won by Tom Dumoulin.

The 2018 Tour La Provence was a road cycling stage race that took place between 8 and 11 February 2018. The race was rated as a 2.1 event as part of the 2018 UCI Europe Tour, and was the third edition of the Tour La Provence.

The 2022 CRO Race was a road cycling stage race in Croatia between 27 September and 2 October 2022. It was the seventh edition of the Tour of Croatia since its revival in 2015 and the third under the CRO Race name. The race is rated as a category 2.1 event on the 2022 UCI Europe Tour calendar.

The 2023 CRO Race is a road cycling stage race in Croatia between 26 September and 1 October 2023. It is the eighth edition of the Tour of Croatia since its revival in 2015 and the fourth under the CRO Race name. The race is rated as a category 2.1 event on the 2023 UCI Europe Tour calendar.
