The 2019 Louisiana Tech Bulldogs baseball team represented Louisiana Tech University in the 2019 NCAA Division I baseball season. The Bulldogs played the majority of their home games at J. C. Love Field at Pat Patterson Park. One weekend series was played at the baseball field at Ruston High School due to the deadly tornados that struck Ruston in April. In early May, it was declared that the university was looking into building a new stadium for the baseball team and that they would likely never use J. C. Love Field at Pat Patterson Park again.

Ruston is a small city and the parish seat of Lincoln Parish, Louisiana, United States. The 2020 population was 22,166. Ruston is near the eastern border of the Ark-La-Tex region and is the home of Louisiana Tech University. Ruston is the principal city of the Ruston micropolitan statistical area, which includes all of Lincoln Parish.
Joe Aillet Stadium is a college football stadium in Ruston, Louisiana and the home field of the Louisiana Tech University Bulldogs football team, which competes in Conference USA. The football stadium replaced the original Tech Stadium where the school's football program played its home games on campus until 1967.

James Edwin "Gravy" Patterson Jr., also known as Pat Patterson, was an American college baseball coach. He served as the head baseball coach at Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, Louisiana from 1968 to 1990, compiling a record of 741–462–2 record. Patterson produced 18 winning seasons in 23 years, and his teams won 40 or more games in five of those years. He was Southland Conference Coach of the Year seven times.

The Louisiana Tech–Louisiana–Monroe football rivalry is an American college football rivalry between the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs and the Louisiana–Monroe Warhawks. The two schools are located 35 miles apart from each other on I-20 in North Louisiana. The two teams have met 43 times on the football field, with Louisiana Tech currently holding a 29–14 lead in the all-time series. The game was put on hiatus in 2000, following the Bulldogs' transition to the Western Athletic Conference, but future matchups have been scheduled.

They finished the season 9–5, 6–2 in C-USA play to be champions of the West Division. They represented the West Division in the Conference USA Championship Game where they lost to WKU. They were invited to the Armed Forces Bowl where they defeated Navy. The Louisiana Tech offense became the first team in NCAA Division 1 history to have a QB pass for 4,500+ yards, a RB rush for 1,000+ yards and two WRs with 1,500+ receiving yards all in a single season.

The team was led by sixth-year head coach Eric Konkol, and played their home games at Thomas Assembly Center in Ruston, Louisiana as a members of the West Division of Conference USA. The Bulldogs finished first in the West Division, but lost in the tournament to North Texas. They received a bid to the National Invitation Tournament, where they lost to Mississippi State, but then defeated Colorado State in the third-place game to win third place.

The 2021 Conference USA baseball tournament was held from May 26 through 30 at J. C. Love Field at Pat Patterson Park in Ruston, Louisiana. The annual tournament determines the tournament champion of Division I Conference USA in college baseball.
