Mwape Miti is a Zambian former professional footballer who played as a striker.

Lupando Mwape was a Zambian politician. He served as the ninth vice-president of Zambia from 2004 to 2006 under President Levy Mwanawasa, who indicated that, had Mwape not been defeated in the 2006 parliamentary election, he would almost certainly have been re-appointed Vice-President. Mwape was succeeded by Rupiah Banda, who became president on Mwanawasa's death in 2008. He died in 2019 at the age of 69. And has a name sake Lupando Chipimo.
Roan United is a Zambian football club based in Luanshya, in the Zambian Premier League and mostly successful during the early years of Zambian football. Indeed, they were the inaugural winners of the ZPL, clinching what was then called the Northern Rhodesia National Football League in 1962. They play their home matches at Kafubu Stadium.

Emmanuel Mwape was a Zambian footballer who is regarded as Zambia's best goalkeeper in history. Nicknamed ‘Mannix’, Mwape kept goal for Zambia at CAN 1974 and featured for Roan United and Rokana United. He was named Zambian Sportsman of the Year in 1974 and his younger brother Kenny also played in goal for Zambia in 1980.
Mirade “Kenny” Mwape (1955–2007) was a Zambian goalkeeper and coach. He was Zambia's goalkeeper at the Moscow Olympic Games in 1980 and played for several Zambian clubs including Power Dynamos. Mwape's elder brother Emmanuel also played in goal for Zambia.
Christine Kaseba is a Zambian physician, surgeon and politician who served as the First Lady of Zambia from September 2011 until her husband's death in October 2014. She is the widow of former President Michael Sata, who died in office on October 28, 2014. Kaseba made an unsuccessful bid for President of Zambia in the January 2015 special presidential election to succeed her husband. She was appointed Zambian Ambassador to France on April 16, 2018.
Edgar Chagwa Lungu is a Zambian politician who served as the sixth president of Zambia from 25 January 2015 to 24 August 2021. Under President Michael Sata, Lungu served as Minister of Justice and Minister of Defence. Following Sata's death in October 2014, Lungu was adopted as the candidate of the Patriotic Front in a Convention of the Patriotic Front in Kabwe, for the January 2015 presidential by-election, which was to determine who would serve out the remainder of Sata's term. In the election, he narrowly defeated opposition candidate Hakainde Hichilema and took office on 25 January 2015.
Brenda Muntemba was a Zambian diplomat who was serving as the Zambian High Commissioner to Kenya at the time of her death. She had also served as the Commissioner of Police, Southern Province and Chief Program Officer at UNESCO in Zambia. She was a school teacher between 1993 and 1995 at Leopards Hill High School and was also a part-time radio presenter for Radio Phoenix and Christian Voice. Muntemba authored and published four motivational books, under Langmead and Baker; OFF DUTY (2011) In Retrospect (2013), Secrets Unveiled (2015) and The Architect (2018).

Zambia competed at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. Originally scheduled to take place from 24 July to 9 August 2020, the Games were postponed to 23 July to 8 August 2021, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It was the nation's fourteenth appearance at the Summer Olympics, although it marked its official debut in 1964 under the name Northern Rhodesia.
