The 2020–21 Vanderbilt Commodores women's basketball team represented Vanderbilt University during the 2020–21 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Commodores, led by fifth-year head coach Stephanie White, played their home games at Memorial Gymnasium and competed as members of the Southeastern Conference (SEC).
On January 18, 2021, it was announced that the team would end their season due to COVID-19 concerns, injuries and a depleted roster. [1] In March, following three student transfer requests, Vanderbilt fired White. [2]

The Vanderbilt Commodores are the intercollegiate athletic teams that represent Vanderbilt University, located in Nashville, Tennessee. Vanderbilt fields 16 varsity teams, 14 of which compete at the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I level as a member of the Southeastern Conference (SEC). Vanderbilt's women's lacrosse team plays in the American Athletic Conference. The bowling team plays in Conference USA (C-USA), which absorbed Vanderbilt's former bowling home of the Southland Bowling League after the 2022–23 season. The University of Tennessee Volunteers are Vanderbilt's primary athletic rival, and the only other SEC team in Tennessee.
Bryce Homer Drew is an American college basketball coach and former player who is the head coach of the Grand Canyon Antelopes. Previously he served as the head coach of the Vanderbilt Commodores and in the same capacity at his alma mater, Valparaiso, having succeeded his father, Homer Drew. Drew has led his teams to the NCAA tournament on six occasions, including at least once at each of the three schools where he has been the head coach.
Stephanie Joanne White is an American former professional basketball player and the head coach of the Connecticut Sun of the WNBA. She was previously head coach of the Vanderbilt Commodores women's basketball team from 2016 to 2021. Prior to Vanderbilt, she was the head coach of the Indiana Fever of the WNBA for the 2015 and 2016 season. As an intercollegiate athlete, she was named the winner of the Wade Trophy in 1999, which recognizes the top female basketball player in the nation.
The Vanderbilt Commodores women's basketball team represents Vanderbilt University in the Eastern Division of the Southeastern Conference (SEC). The Commodores have never won the regular season SEC championship, although they have won six SEC tournament titles ; the SEC has awarded its official championship based solely on regular-season record since the 1985–86 season. The team is coached by Shea Ralph, entering her third season.
Derek Mason is an American college football coach who is currently the head football coach for Middle Tennessee State University. He previously served as head coach at Vanderbilt University from 2014 to 2020.
The 2017–18 Vanderbilt Commodores women's basketball team represents Vanderbilt University in the 2017–18 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Commodores, led by second year head coach Stephanie White, play their home games at Memorial Gymnasium and were members of the Southeastern Conference. They finished the season 7–24, 3–13 in SEC play to finish in a 3 way tie for eleventh place. They lost in the first round of the SEC women's tournament to Arkansas.

They were coached by Bryce Drew in his third season at Vanderbilt. The Commodores played their home games at Memorial Gymnasium in Nashville, Tennessee as members of the Southeastern Conference. They finished the season 9–23, 0–18 to finish in last place in SEC play. They were the first SEC team to go winless in a season since the 1954 Georgia Tech team, and the first team ever in the 18-game conference schedule. They lost in the first round of the SEC tournament to Texas A&M.

The Tigers, led by ninth-year head coach Terri Williams-Flournoy, played their home games at Auburn Arena and competed as members of the Southeastern Conference (SEC). They finished the season 5–19 with a loss to Florida in the first round of the SEC tournament. On March 4, 2021, following a winless SEC season, Williams-Flournoy was fired as head coach.
The 2020–21 Texas A&M Aggies women's basketball team represents Texas A&M University in the 2020–21 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The team's head coach is Gary Blair, in his eighteenth season at Texas A&M. The team plays their home games at the Reed Arena in College Station, Texas, and in its ninth season as a member of the Southeastern Conference.
The 2020–21 LSU Lady Tigers basketball team will represent Louisiana State University during the 2020–21 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Lady Tigers, led by tenth-year head coach Nikki Fargas, play their home games at Pete Maravich Assembly Center and compete as members of the Southeastern Conference (SEC).

They finished the season 21–7 and earned an at-large bid to the NCAA tournament, where they lost in the second round to Oregon.
Sarah Fuller is an American former soccer player who was a goalkeeper for Minnesota Aurora FC in the USL W League. She began her college soccer career with the Vanderbilt Commodores, where she also played college football as a placekicker.

The team was led by third-year head coach Jerry Stackhouse, and played their home games at Memorial Gymnasium in Nashville, Tennessee as a member of the Southeastern Conference. They finished the season 19–17, 7–11 in SEC Play to finish in eleventh place. They defeated Georgia and Alabama to advance to the quarterfinals of the SEC tournament where they lost to Kentucky. They received an at-large bid to the National Invitation Tournament where they defeated Belmont and Dayton to advance to the quarterfinals where they lost to Xavier.
