<span class="mw-page-title-main">ISSF World Shooting Championships</span> World championship in shooting

The ISSF World Shooting Championships are governed by the International Shooting Sport Federation. World Shooting Championships began in 1897, after the successful 1896 Summer Olympics, and although the ISSF was not founded until 1907, these early competitions are still seen by the organization as the beginning of a continuous row of championships. By this logic, the 2006 competition in Zagreb was called the 49th ISSF World Shooting Championships. These championships, including all ISSF shooting events, are held every four years since 1954. For the shotgun events only, there is an additional World Championship competition in odd-numbered years. These extra competitions are not numbered. In running target, there will be World Championships in Olympic years.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Esha Singh</span> Indian amateur shooter (born 2005)

Esha Singh is an Indian amateur shooter. She became the national champion in the 10m Air Pistol category in 2018 in 2018. She won silver medal at Junior World Cup at Suhl, Germany in 2019, two gold medals at Asian Junior Championships in 10m Air Pistol Women (AP60W) and 10m Air Pistol Mixed Team (APMIX). Besides 10m Air Pistol, she also competes in 25m Standard Pistol and 25m Pistol events. She won the Gold medal in the 25m Pistol team event for India and an individual silver medal in the 25m Pistol event at the Asian Games 2022 held at Gangzhou, China.

Hanieh Rostamian is an Iranian sports shooter. She represented Iran at the 2020 Summer Olympics in the Women's 10 metre air pistol event, where she placed tenth, and in the 10 metre air pistol mixed team event, where her team placed fifth. She was also one of Iran's two flag bearers. She also won Iran's first quota for the 2024 Summer Olympics.

Alexandra Saduakassova is a Kazakh sport shooter. She participated at the 2021 World Running Target Championships, winning two gold medals in the women's junior and mixed junior events. Saduakassova lost to Zuhkra Irnazahova in the bronze medal play-off at the 2021 Asian Airgun Championships.

The 2022 Asian Airgun Championships were held at Daegu International Shooting Range, Daegu, South Korea between 9 and 19 November 2022.
