The 2021 Asian Archery Championships were the 22nd edition of the event, and was held at the Bangladesh Army Stadium in Dhaka, Bangladesh from 14 to 19 November 2021. [1] [2]

She has won individual gold in two of the three stages of the World Cup--one in Guatemala and another in Paris. In the process she also reclaimed the number one ranking after nine years in Paris World Cup. Deepika Kumari won individual gold medals at the Archery World Cup Stage 1. Deepika Kumari also defeated Mexico by 5–1 in the final to win gold in Paris.

Jignas Chittibomma is an Indian archer. He is noted for being instrumental in India's 2nd-place finish in the 2010 Commonwealth Games.

Rajat Chauhan is an Indian archer. Chauhan won a silver medal in the World Archery Championships in Copenhagen, becoming the first Indian to win an individual medal in compound archery at the World Championships. He won the Gold Medal Asian Games 2014 in Incheon in the men's compound archery team event along with Abhishek Verma and Sandeep Kumar. In 2014 he also became the first Indian compound archer to qualify for the Archery World Cup final, and in 2015 reached the final of the 2015 World Archery Championships.

Abhishek Verma is an Indian archer. At the 2014 Asian Games at Incheon, South Korea, he won the gold medal in the men's compound archery team event along with Rajat Chauhan and Sandeep Kumar, and the silver medal in the men's individual compound event. On 15 August 2015, he won a gold medal in the compound men's individual section at the Archery World Cup Stage 3 in Wroclaw, Poland. On 25 October 2015, he won the silver medal in the compound men's individual section at the Archery World Cup Final in Mexico city.

Atanu Das represents India in the recurve men's individual and team events. His current world ranking is 9 as of 22 July 2021. He is the spouse of World No. 1 Indian archer Deepika Kumari.

Bangladesh competed at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. Originally scheduled to take place from 24 July to 9 August 2020, the Games were postponed to 23 July to 8 August 2021, because of the COVID-19 pandemic. It was the nation's tenth appearance at the Summer Olympics.

Mohammad Ruman Shana is a Bangladeshi archer. He won the bronze medal in recurve single's event of 2019 World Archery Championships and became the first Bangladeshi archer in history to win a medal in the competition. He lives in Khulna. Shana won gold in the men's singles recurve category at the 2019 Asia Cup in the Philippines.

Bangladesh Archery Federation is the national federation for archery and is responsible for governing the sport in Bangladesh. Lieutenant General Mohammad Mainul Islam is the President of the Bangladesh Archery Federation. Kazi Razib Uddin Ahmed is the General Secretary of the foundation.

Diya Siddique is a Bangladeshi archer. On 23 May 2021, she along with Ruman Shana claimed silver medal in the recurve mixed team event during the 2021 Archery World Cup where Bangladesh emerged as runners-up to Netherlands in the final. Despite losing the final 5–1, it was the best performance by Bangladesh at an Archery World Championship. It also marked the first instance whereas Bangladesh managed to reach final in an event of Archery World Cup.

Rishabh Yadav is a compound archer from India. At the 2021 World Archery Youth Championships at Wrocław, Poland, he won the bronze medal in the men's compound archery event. On 17 November 2021, he won the bronze medal in the men's compound archery team event along with Abhishek Verma and Aman Saini and a silver medal in the mixed team event with Jyothi Surekha Vennam at the 22nd Asian Archery Championship in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
