The 2021 IFSC Paraclimbing World Championships was the 7th edition of its kind. It was held in Moscow, Russia from 15 to 17 September 2021, alongside the 2021 IFSC Climbing World Championships, it included a total of 13 Lead events for the respective athlete's impairment classification.
Two venues were used during the championships: the Irina Viner-Usmanova Gymnastics Palace and the Athletics and Football Sport Complex "CSKA". [1]

In a world championship, at least six athletes and four nations must enter each category. Because of insufficient registrations several competitions had to be merged. As B3 cannot be merged with any other category, they were instead held as Masters. [2]

The International Federation of Sport Climbing (IFSC) is the international governing body for the sport of competition climbing, which consists of the disciplines lead climbing, bouldering, and speed climbing.
The IFSC Climbing World Championships are the biennial world championship event for competition climbing that is organized by the International Federation of Sport Climbing (IFSC). This event determines the male and female world champions in the three disciplines of competition climbing: competition lead climbing, competition bouldering, and competition speed climbing. Since 2012, a combined ranking is also determined, for climbers competing in all disciplines, and additional medals are awarded based on that ranking. The first event was organized in Frankfurt in 1991.
The IFSC Climbing European Championships are the biennial European championship for competition climbing organized by the International Federation of Sport Climbing (IFSC). The first competition was held in Frankfurt in 1992.
The IFSC Climbing World Cup is a series of competition climbing events held during the year at various locations around the world, organized by the International Federation of Sport Climbing (IFSC). At each event, the athletes compete in three disciplines: lead, bouldering, and speed. The number of events varies from year to year, and the winners for each discipline are decided by the points accumulated in the year.
There were 40 quota spots available for sport climbing at the 2020 Summer Olympics. Each National Olympic Committee (NOC) could obtain a maximum of 2 spots in each event. Each event had 20 competitors qualify: 18 from qualifying, 1 from the host (Japan), and 1 from Tripartite Commission invitations.
The 2018 IFSC Climbing World Championships, the 15th edition, were held in Innsbruck, Austria from 6 to 16 September 2018. The championships consisted of lead, speed, bouldering, paraclimbing, and combined events.
Speed climbing competitions at the 2018 IFSC Climbing World Cup were being held at eight stops. The winners were awarded trophies, and the best three finishers received medals.
The 2014 IFSC Climbing World Championships, the 13th edition, were held in Munich, Germany from 21 to 23 August 2014 for bouldering and in Gijón, Spain from 8 to 14 September 2014 for lead, speed, and paraclimbing.
Matthew Phillips is a British paraclimber. He competes on the Great Britain Paraclimbing Team, where he was the youngest member, and is the current World Champion in the AU2 category. He is coached by GB Team's Head Coach Robin O'Leary.
The Great Britain paraclimbing team represents Great Britain in paraclimbing. They are administered by British Mountaineering Council, and currently sponsored by the Oakwood Climbing Centre and Quay Climbing Centre. In 2018 the team had their best season ever coming 2nd in the IFSC Climbing World Championships Paraclimbing medal table with 3 World Champions gaining Gold, a Silver and a Bronze medal.

The winners of the last event will automatically qualify for the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan, where climbing will make its debut.
The 2021 IFSC Climbing World Championships was the 17th edition of the competition climbing event. It was held in Moscow, Russia from 16 to 21 September 2021, alongside the 2021 IFSC Paraclimbing World Championships.
Kokoro Fujii is a Japanese professional sport climber and boulderer. He has won the men's bouldering category of 2021 IFSC Climbing World Championships, multiple medals at IFSC Climbing World Cup events, finishing second overall in bouldering during the 2021 World Cup season.
The 2022 IFSC Climbing World Cup is the 34th edition of the international sport climbing competition series organised by the International Federation of Sport Climbing (IFSC), held in 12 locations. There are 21 events: six bouldering, seven lead, seven speed, and one bouldering & lead combined events. The series began on 8 April in Meiringen, Switzerland with the first bouldering competitions of the season, and concluded on 22 October in Morioka-Iwate, Japan, which introduced the Boulder & Lead combined format that will be used at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.
Linda Le Bon is a para-athlete. She competes for her native country Belgium in para-alpine skiing and for Austria in paraclimbing. She competes in the B2 category, which is for visually impaired athletes. She has a vision impairment as a result of macular degeneration.

The competition climbing championships consisted of lead, speed, bouldering, and boulder & lead combined events, along with the paraclimbing event. The speed and combined events served as the first qualifying event for the 2024 Summer Olympics. PostFinance Arena served as the event venue.

The IFSC Paraclimbing World Cup 2024 is the twelfth season of the paraclimbing world cup series by the International Federation of Sport Climbing. Two of the three events are held alongside the 2024 IFSC Climbing World Cup.
