It was their second Australian Open title and seventh major title together, and they extended their winning streak at the majors to 24 matches with the win, dating back to the 2022 Australian Open.

Dabrowski became the first Canadian to win a women's doubles major title and Routliffe became the first New Zealander to win a US Open title.
Defending champion Storm Hunter and her partner Elise Mertens defeated Gabriela Dabrowski and Erin Routliffe in the final, 3–6, 6–2, [10–4] to win the doubles title at the 2023 Guadalajara Open Akron. Mertens reclaimed the WTA No. 1 doubles ranking by reaching the semifinals.

Laura Siegemund and Édouard Roger-Vasselin defeated Desirae Krawczyk and Neal Skupski in the final, 6–4, 7–5 to win the mixed doubles tennis title at the 2024 French Open. It was the second major mixed doubles title for Siegemund and the first for Roger-Vasselin. Roger-Vasselin became the first Frenchman to win the mixed doubles event since Fabrice Santoro in 2005.
Hsieh Su-wei and Elise Mertens won the doubles title at the 2024 Birmingham Classic, defeating Miyu Kato and Zhang Shuai in the final, 6–1, 6–3.
Kateřina Siniaková and Taylor Townsend defeated Gabriela Dabrowski and Erin Routliffe in the final, 7–6(7–5), 7–6(7–1) to win the ladies' doubles tennis title at the 2024 Wimbledon Championships. It was the first major women's doubles title for Townsend and ninth for Siniaková, the latter of whom completed the Channel Slam.
Lyudmyla Kichenok and Jeļena Ostapenko defeated Kristina Mladenovic and Zhang Shuai in the final, 6–4, 6–3 to win the women's doubles tennis title at the 2024 US Open. It was the first major women's doubles title for both players. They did not drop a set during the tournament. Kichenok and Ostapenko became the first Ukrainian and Latvian player respectively to win the women's doubles title at the US Open. Ostapenko also became the first Latvian to win a major doubles title.
Sara Errani and Andrea Vavassori defeated Taylor Townsend and Donald Young in the final, 7–6(7–0), 7–5 to win the mixed doubles tennis title at the 2024 US Open. Errani and Vavassori saved a match point en route to the title, in the first round against Robert Galloway and Shelby Rogers. Errani and Vavassori became the first all-Italian pair to win the title, with Errani becoming the first Italian woman to win the title since Raffaella Reggi in 1986. This tournament marked Young's final professional appearance.
