The 2022 Campbell Fighting Camels baseball team represented Campbell University during the 2022 NCAA Division I baseball season. The Camels played their home games at Jim Perry Stadium as a member of the Big South Conference. They were led by head coach Justin Haire, in his eighth season at Campbell.
Campbell won both the regular season and the Big South Tournament.
The 2021 Campbell Fighting Camels baseball team finished the season with a 37–18 record and a 28–9 record in Big South play. The Camels won the Big South regular season championship, but were eliminated by Presbyterian College in the Big South Tournament. Despite this, Campbell earned an at-large berth into the 2021 NCAA Division I baseball tournament as a three seed in the Starkville Regional with one-seed, Mississippi State; two-seed, VCU; and four seed, Samford. Campbell reached the Regional final on a 2–2 record before being eliminated by eventual national champions, Mississippi State.
During the 2021 MLB draft, one player from Campbell was drafted. [2] Spencer Packard was drafted in the ninth round with the 264th overall pick by the Seattle Mariners. [3] Packard was assigned to the club's High-A affiliate, the Everett AquaSox. [4]

The Everett AquaSox are a Minor League Baseball team in Everett, Washington. The team is a member of the Northwest League and is the High-A affiliate of the Seattle Mariners. The AquaSox play their home games at Funko Field, which has a seating capacity of 3,682. Everett has won three division titles and one Northwest League championship.
The Campbell Fighting Camels are the athletic teams that represent Campbell University, located in Buies Creek, North Carolina, in intercollegiate sports at the Division I level of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), primarily competing in the Coastal Athletic Association since the 2023–24 academic year. The football program competes in the FCS, formerly known as I-AA.
The Fresno State Bulldogs baseball team represents Fresno State in NCAA Division I college baseball. Along with most other Fresno State athletic teams, the baseball team participates in the Mountain West Conference. The Bulldogs play their home games on campus at Pete Beiden Field, and they are currently coached by Ryan Overland.

The Campbell Fighting Camels baseball team is Campbell University's NCAA Division I baseball team. The team currently competes as members of the Big South Conference. The Fighting Camels competed in the Big South until 1994 when they joined the Atlantic Sun Conference. They returned to the Big South in 2011. Notable alumni include Jim Perry, Ryan Thompson, Cedric Mullins, and Zach Neto.
Douglas Wildes Fister is an American former professional baseball pitcher. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Seattle Mariners, Detroit Tigers, Washington Nationals, Houston Astros, Boston Red Sox, and Texas Rangers from 2009 through 2018.
Eric Michael-Jay Farris is an American former professional baseball second baseman and left fielder. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Milwaukee Brewers. He was the manager for the Everett AquaSox, the High-A affiliate of the Seattle Mariners, during the 2022 season. He is currently the third base coach for the Tacoma Rainiers, the MiLB Triple-A affiliate of the Seattle Mariners.
James Alston Paxton, nicknamed "Big Maple", is a Canadian former professional baseball pitcher. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Seattle Mariners, New York Yankees, Boston Red Sox, and Los Angeles Dodgers.
