The 2022 Judo Oceania Open Perth was held at the Gold Netball Centre in Perth, Western Australia, from 29 to 30 October 2022 as part of the IJF World Tour and during the 2024 Summer Olympics qualification period. [2] [3] [4] Like the 2019 Judo Oceania Open Perth before it, this "Continental Open" level event's rules were those of a Grand Prix level event, and it awarded ranking points as one. [5] [3]

Shira Rishony is an Israeli Olympic lightweight judoka. She competed at U48 kg. She competed for Israel at the 2016 Summer Olympics and at the 2020 Summer Olympics.

Tal Flicker is an Israeli judoka. He competes in the under 66 kg weight category, and won bronze medals in the 2017 World Judo Championships and the 2018 European Judo Championships as well as a silver medal in the 2020 European Judo Championships. The World Judo Juniors Championships are the highest level of international judo competition for juniors, 21 years of age or less.
