Two-time defending champion Rafael Nadal defeated Stefanos Tsitsipas in the final, 6–2, 6–1 to win the singles tennis title at the 2018 Barcelona Open. Nadal did not drop a set en route to his record-extending eleventh Barcelona Open title and his 20th ATP 500 title overall, equaling Roger Federer's record. He retained the world No. 1 singles ranking with the win. It was Tsitsipas' first ATP Tour final.
Leonardo Mayer was the defending champion, but lost in the final to Nikoloz Basilashvili, 4–6, 6–0, 5–7. This was Basilashvili's first ATP World Tour title, as well as the first ATP title won by a Georgian player since Alexander Metreveli.

Benoît Paire defeated defending champion Pablo Andújar in the final, 6–2, 6–3, to win the singles tennis title at the 2019 Grand Prix Hassan II. The win earned Paire his second career Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) singles title, his first in four years. Andújar saw his 13-match winning streak snapped in the loss after he had won two consecutive ATP Challenger Tour titles in Marbella and Alicante in the two weeks prior to the tournament.

Thanasi Kokkinakis defeated Arthur Rinderknech in the final, 6–7(6–8), 7–6(7–5), 6–3 to win the men's singles title at the 2022 Adelaide International 2. It was his first ATP Tour title, and he won it in his hometown of Adelaide. Kokkinakis saved a match point against Marin Čilić in the semifinals.
Félix Auger-Aliassime defeated Stefanos Tsitsipas in the final, 6–4, 6–2. It was his maiden ATP Tour singles title, following eight runner-up finishes in prior finals.

Jannik Sinner defeated the defending champion Carlos Alcaraz in the final, 6–7(5–7), 6–1, 6–1 to win the singles tennis title at the 2022 Croatia Open Umag.
Sebastián Báez defeated Mariano Navone in the final, 6–2, 6–1 to win the singles tennis title at the 2024 Rio Open. It was his fifth ATP Tour title and his first ATP 500 title. Navone was the second qualifier to contest the Rio Open final, following Gianluca Mager in 2020.
Sebastián Báez defeated Alejandro Tabilo in the final, 3–6, 6–0, 6–4 to win the singles tennis title at the 2024 Chile Open. It was his sixth career ATP Tour title and his second title in as many weeks, having won the Rio Open the week before.
