The 2023 Dublin Senior Football Championship is the 137th edition of Dublin GAA's premier gaelic football tournament for senior clubs in County Dublin, Ireland. 32 teams participate (16 in Senior 1 and 16 in Senior 2), with the winner of Senior 1 representing Dublin in the Leinster Senior Club Football Championship. Kilmacud Crokes defeated Ballyboden St Enda's in the 2023 final to win their third dublin title in a row. [1]

Contents

Clontarf won the Senior 2 Championship and were promoted along with finalists Fingallians to Senior 1. They replaced Whitehall Colmcille and Templeogue Synge Street who were relegated to Senior 2.

Scoil Uí Chonaill won the Intermediate championship, and were promoted to Senior 2, along with finalists Parnells. [2] [3] They replaced Naomh Mearnóg and St Anne's who were relegated.

The Dublin Senior Football Championship is an annual Gaelic Athletic Association competition between the top Dublin GAA clubs. The winners of the Dublin Championship qualify to represent their county in the Leinster Senior Club Football Championship, the winners of which progress to the All-Ireland Senior Club Football Championship. The 2023 Dublin champions are Kilmacud Crokes who defeated Ballyboden St Enda's in the final.

The 2006 Dublin Senior Football Championship was an edition of an annual Gaelic football competition organized by the Dublin County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association in Ireland. The competition used a modified knockout format. The previous champions in 2005 were Kilmacud Crokes, who were knocked out of the 2006 competition at the semi-final stage. UCD finished the 2006 championship as Dublin champions, by beating St Vincents in the final.

The Dublin adult football league is divided up into a tier system of 13 teams. These teams range from the top two Divisions one and two and eleven other divisions, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 North and South. The winner of each league title goes on to qualify for the next highest ranking division.

This is a round-up of all the latest in the 2007 Dublin Senior Football Championship which began on 18 April 2007 when Garda took on champions UCD at Parnell Park. UCD had finished the 2006 championship by beating St Vincents in the final. St Vincents managed to better their 2006 performance by beating St Brigids in the final at Parnell Park.

The 2009 Dublin Senior Football Championship is the inter club Gaelic football competition between the top teams in Dublin GAA.

The 2010 Dublin Senior Football Championship is the inter club Gaelic football competition between the top teams in Dublin GAA. The first round draw was announced on 10 March 2010.

The 2011 Dublin Senior Football Championship is the inter club Gaelic football competition between the top teams in Dublin GAA. There are currently 8 teams remaining in contention for the Dublin Championship.

The Dublin Ladies' Senior Football Championship is the senior Ladies' Gaelic football competition featuring clubs affiliated to the Dublin GAA. Ballyboden St. Enda's are the competitions most successful club, having won 10 titles. Between 2000 and 2008 they completed a nine-in-a-row. They won their tenth title in 2010. In more recent seasons, the most successful club has been Foxrock–Cabinteely. Between 2015 and 2021 they completed a seven-in-a-row. The winners of the Dublin Senior Ladies' Football Championship are awarded the Michael Murphy Perpetual Cup. They also qualify to play in the Leinster Ladies' Senior Club Football Championship and if they win that, they qualify for the All-Ireland Ladies' Club Football Championship.

The 2012 Dublin Senior Football Championship was the inter club Gaelic football competition between the top teams in Dublin GAA. St Brigid's were the defending champions and Skerries Harps were the latest addition to the senior championship having won the Intermediate championship in 2011.

The 2013 Dublin Senior Football Championship was the top club championship competition on the Dublin GAA calendar for 2013. The championship was changed since 2012, with a backdoor system no longer in place, meaning that the championship was played on a knockout basis. All teams knocked out in the first round of the Dublin championship were entered into a new Dublin Senior B Championship.

St. Vincent's won the Championship for the second year in a row beating St. Oliver Plunkett's Eoghan Ruadh in the final on 27 October 2014 at a packed Parnell Park. The 2014 Dublin Senior Football Championship was the top club championship competition on the Dublin GAA calendar for 2014. The championship was changed since 2012, with a backdoor system no longer in place, meaning that the championship was played on a knockout basis. All teams knocked out in the first round of the Dublin championship are entered into the Dublin Senior B Championship. St. Maur's were eventual B Championship winners.
