The 2023 Major Clubs T20 Tournament was a Twenty20 cricket tournament that took place in Sri Lanka. It was the second season of the Major Clubs T20 Tournament, organized by Sri Lanka Cricket.The tournament was played from 27 May to 11 June 2023. [1]

Contents

The final match between Colts and Nondescripts was washed out due to rain and ended in a no result, and both teams were declared joint champions. [2]

Format

The 22 qualifying teams were divided into four groups of sixes, with the top two teams in each group advancing to the knockout stage. which consisted of two semi-finals and a final.[ citation needed ]

The group stage will consist of four groups of sixes teams, played as a single round-robin format. The top two teams in each group will progress to the knockout-stage.[ citation needed ]

The 2010–11 Caribbean Twenty20 season was the second season of the Caribbean Twenty20, a domestic Twenty20 tournament administrated by the West Indies Cricket Board. The season began on 10 January 2011, six months after the 2010 tournament, and concluded with the final on 23 January.
