2023 Netherlands Women's Tri-Nation Series

The 2023 Netherlands Women's Tri-Nation Series was a Twenty20 International (T20I) series which took place in the Netherlands in July 2023. [1] The series was contested by Netherlands, Scotland and Thailand. [2] All the matches of the series were played at Sportpark Maarschalkerweerd in Utrecht. [3] Thailand won the tri-series on net run rate after all three sides earned two wins and two defeats. [4]

Ahead of the tri-nation series, Netherlands and Thailand played a three-match bilateral One Day International (ODI) series, [5] which was played at the VRA Cricket Ground in Amstelveen. [6] The second match was abandoned due to rain, and the ODI series was tied 1–1. [7]

The 2020–21 Nepal Tri-Nation Series was a Twenty20 international cricket tournament that took place in April 2021 in Nepal. The participating teams were Nepal, Malaysia and the Netherlands. The matches were all played at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur. The tournament was played in a double round-robin format, followed by a final between the top two sides.

The 2021–22 Nepal T20I Tri-Nation Series was a Twenty20 International (T20I) cricket tournament that took place in Nepal from 28 March to 4 April 2022. The participating teams were the hosts Nepal along with Malaysia and Papua New Guinea. The matches were played at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur. On 12 March 2022, the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) confirmed all the fixtures.

The Ireland cricket team toured Zimbabwe in January 2023 to play three One Day International (ODI) and three Twenty20 International (T20I) matches. Zimbabwe won the T20I series 2–1. The ODI series was drawn 1–1 after the final match ended with no result due to rain.

The 2023 ICC Women's T20 World Cup Europe Qualifier was a cricket tournament that formed part of the qualification process for the 2024 ICC Women's T20 World Cup. In an expanded qualification pathway for women's cricket in Europe, this was the first time that a second division was included. The first stage of the tournament was Division Two, held in Jersey in May and June 2023. Six teams played in Division Two, with the top two sides progressing to Division One, which was played in Spain in September 2023. The top two teams in Division One advanced to the 2024 ICC Women's T20 World Cup Qualifier along with Ireland, Sri Lanka and six other regional qualifiers.

The Zimbabwe women's cricket team toured Thailand in April 2023 to play three One Day International (ODI) and three Twenty20 International (T20I) matches. This was Zimbabwe's first tour to Thailand for a bilateral series. Originally the tour was to consist of just three T20Is, before being expanded to a series of 3 ODIs and 4 T20Is. However, after the completion of the first match of the T20I series, it was announced that the series would be reduced to three matches due to scheduling conflicts with the Southeast Asian Games cricket tournament.

The Ireland women's cricket team toured the West Indies in June and July 2023 to play three One Day International (ODI) and three Twenty20 International (T20I) matches. The ODI series formed part of the 2022–2025 ICC Women's Championship. In March 2023, Cricket Ireland (CI) announced their summer schedule, including the dates of this tour. Cricket West Indies (CWI) confirmed the schedule of the tour in June 2023.

The Ireland women's cricket team toured the Netherlands in August 2023 to play three Twenty20 International (T20I) matches. Cricket Ireland (CI) confirmed their summer schedule in March 2023, including the dates of this tour. All the matches of the series took place at the VRA Cricket Ground in Amstelveen.
