The 2023 Notre Dame Fighting Irish baseball team represented the University of Notre Dame, located in Notre Dame, Indiana, in the 2023 NCAA Division I baseball season. The team was led by head coach Shawn Stiffler, in his 1st season as head coach, and played home games at the on-campus Frank Eck Stadium as members of the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC).

Previous season

The 2022 team finished the season with a 41–17 record and a 16–11 record in ACC play. They went 2–1 in the ACC tournament, 3–0 in the Statesboro Regional, and 2–1 in the Knoxville Super Regional where they defeated the overall number-one seed Tennessee. In the 2022 College World Series, the Fighting Irish defeated Texas in the first round, before falling to Oklahoma and Texas A&M in the second round. [2]
