Spikers' Turf

The 2023 Spikers' Turf Invitational Conference was the seventeenth conference and the end of the sixth season of the Spikers' Turf. The tournament began from October 20, to December 15, 2023, at the Paco Arena, Paco, Manila. [1] [2]

Contents

This conference used the same format of the Premier Volleyball League Invitationals, where foreign club, Maruichi Hyogo of Japan participated the round-robin semifinals. [3]

Participating teams

There were twenty-five teams participating in this conference, some of the teams will come from the UAAP and NCAA, sponsored by corporate/companies. Maruichi Hyogo of Japan, which will have a bye to the semifinals. [2]

Preliminary round
  1. Single round-robin elimination; Twenty-four (24) teams; 4 pools.
  2. The top 2 teams in each pool will advance to the quarterfinals.
Quarterfinals
  1. Single-elimination tournament; Top 2 teams in each pool (8 teams).
  2. Winners will advance to the semifinals.
Semifinals
  1. Five teams (4 quarterfinal winners + foreign guest team); Single round-robin elimination.
  2. The third and fourth-ranked teams will advance to the 3rd place series.
  3. The first and second-ranked teams will advance to the championship series.
Finals
  1. All games are knockout matches.
  2. Bronze medal: SF Ranked 3 vs. SF Ranked 4
  3. Gold medal: SF Ranked 1 vs. SF Ranked 2

Pool standing procedure

  5. If the tie continues as per the point ratio between two teams, the priority will be given to the team which won the last match between them. When the tie in points ratio is between three or more teams, a new classification of these teams in the terms of points 1, 2 and 3 will be made taking into consideration only the matches in which they were opposed to each other.

Match won 3–0 or 3–1: 3 match points for the winner, 0 match points for the loser
Match won 3–2: 2 match points for the winner, 1 match point for the loser.

The 2023 Premier Volleyball League First All-Filipino Conference was the fourteenth conference of the Premier Volleyball League and its fifth conference as a professional league. The tournament began on February 4, 2023, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, Quezon City.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">2023 Premier Volleyball League Second All-Filipino Conference</span> Third conference of the 2023 PVL season

The 2023 Premier Volleyball League Second All-Filipino Conference was the sixteenth conference of the Premier Volleyball League. The tournament began on October 15, 2023. This tournament was set to be the second post-pandemic import-laden conference known as the 2023 Premier Volleyball League Reinforced Conference, with the Angels set to defend their crown, but was made into a second All-Filipino Conference as a consequence of sanctions from the Philippine National Volleyball Federation.

The 2023 MPVA season was the inaugural season of the Maharlika Pilipinas Volleyball Association. The preliminary round began on October 22, 2023 and ended on November 30, 2023. The playoffs then began December 2, 2023 and ended on December 21, 2023. The tournament features eight teams across the country.

The 2024 Spikers' Turf Open Conference was the eighteenth conference and the opening of the seventh season of the Spikers' Turf. The tournament began on March 13, 2024.
