Background

The event featured a welterweight title eliminator bout between Yosdenis Cedeno and Gorjan Slaveski. [1]

The event was expected to have a rematch between BKFC Bantamweight Champion Johnny Bedford and former champion Dat Nguyen; however, the bout was cancelled after Bedford retired from combat sports just a few days into the camp. [3]

Background

The event was headlined by the BKFC Light Heavyweight Championship unification bout between the reigning champion Lorenzo Hunt and the interim champion Mike Richman [4]

The event also featured the bare-knuckle debut of former WBA (Regular) Light Middleweight champion Austin Trout as he faced UFC Hall of Famer Diego Sanchez. [5]

Also, former NFL defensive end and mixed martial artist Greg Hardy made his bare-knuckle debut on the card against Josh Watson. [6] Additionally, the Albuquerque native, The Ultimate Fighter 14 winner and two-time UFC title challenger John Dodson and his brother Eric appeared on the card. [7]

Background

The event was scheduled to be headlined by a special rules bare-knuckle Muay Thai bout between Muay Thai legends Buakaw Banchamek and Saenchai. [11] However, In mid-February it was announced that due to legal implications regarding the use of name muay thai in marketing, the bout was indefinitely postponed. [12] Being the only published bout, the event was removed from the organization's event schedule altogether. [12]

This event featured former UFC fighter Mike Perry against former UFC Lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez. This also had the bareknuckle debut of former UFC fighter Jeremy Stephens.

A Heavyweight bout between Ben Rothwell and Todd Duffee was scheduled for the co-main event. However, on November 30, it was announced the bout was cancelled due to Rothwell having an illness. [54] The bout was rescheduled for BKFC: Knucklemania IV on April 27, 2024. A bout between Nick Rossborough and Kevin Brooks was cancelled prior to the event. [55]

The Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) is an American bare-knuckle boxing promotion based in Philadelphia. The promotion was founded in April 2018, and is presided over by David Feldman, Bobby Gun, and Danny Provenzano.

Michael Charles Trizano is an American professional mixed martial artist who most recently competed in the Featherweight division of Ultimate Fighting Championship. A professional competitor since 2016, Trizano was the winner of The Ultimate Fighter: Undefeated season 27.

The year 2019 is the 2nd year in the history of the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship, a bare-knuckle fighting promotion based in Philadelphia. The season started with Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship 4: USA vs Mexico. BKFC is available on PPV all over the world and on FITE TV.

The year consisted of 13 events, including an inaugural Fight Night event alongside nine title fights. The promotion also saw the inception of the new Cruiserweight division and its inaugural title fight at Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship 18.

Keith Richardson is an American mixed martial artist and bare-knuckle boxer. He currently competes in the bantamweight division of Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship, where he is the current BKFC Bantamweight Champion. A professional mixed martial arts competitor since 2009, he has fought in Bellator, the Legacy Fighting Alliance, and King of the Cage.

Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship Thailand (BKFC Thailand), officially known as Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship Asia (BKFC Asia), is a bare-knuckle boxing promotion based in Pattaya, Thailand. It is the officially licensed branch of Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) in Asia. BKFC Asia is the first promotion in Thailand and Asia to receive full international licensing and sanctioning for bare-knuckle boxing. Founded in 2021, BKFC Asia has held 5 total events as of November 2023.

Arnold Adams is an American mixed martial artist and bare-knuckle boxer. He currently competes in the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship, where he is the inaugural and a two-time BKFC Heavyweight Champion. As of July 25, 2024, he is tied at #3 in the BKFC men's pound-for-pound rankings.

Kai Stewart is an American bare-knuckle boxer and mixed martial artist. He currently competes in the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship in the featherweight division, where he is the current and inaugural BKFC Featherweight Champion. As a mixed martial artist, he has competed in the welterweight division.

The year 2024 is the 7th year in the history of the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship, a bare-knuckle fighting promotion based in Philadelphia.
