The 2024 AFF Women's Cup is the first edition of AFF Women's Cup, a lower tier international women's football tournament organised by the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) for countries which are not strong in women's football. The tournament was held in Laos. [1]
The top three teams qualified for the AFF's highest tier tournament which is 2025 ASEAN Women's Championship. [2] This is the first time the ASEAN Women’s Championship, formerly known as AFF Women's Championship, has a qualification tournament.
Indonesia is the inaugural champions, also later named as host of the 2025 ASEAN Women's Championship. [3]
Six lowest ranked AFF teams from the 2022 AFF Women's Championship entered the AFF Women's Cup final tournament. [1]

The draw for the 2024 AFF Women's Cup was held on October 19, 2024, in Vientiane, Laos. [1] The teams were allocated into three pots based on their performances in the 2022 AFF Women's Championship. Host Laos were automaticaly placed in position A1. [4]

The 2014 AFF Championship qualification tournament was the qualification process for the 2014 AFF Championship, the tenth edition of the ASEAN Football Championship. It was held in Laos from 12 to 20 October 2014, and involved the five lower ranked teams in Southeast Asia. The format was a single round-robin tournament with the top two teams qualifying for the tournament proper.
The 2015 AFF U-19 Youth Championship was the 13th edition of the tournament which was held in Laos for the first time between 22 August to 4 September 2015. It was initially going to be played in Indonesia but they were suspended by FIFA in May 2015.
