The 2024 FIBA Under-18 Women's AmeriCup was the 14th edition of the FIBA Under-18 Women's AmeriCup, the biennial international under-18 basketball competition. The tournament was held from 17 to 23 June 2024 in Bucaramanga, Colombia. This also served as the qualifying tournament for FIBA Americas in the 2025 FIBA Under-19 Women's Basketball World Cup in the Czech Republic. [1] [2]

Contents

Hosts selection

On 9 April 2024, FIBA Americas decided to grant Colombia the hosting rights for the FIBA U18 Women's AmeriCup. The city of Bucaramanga will host the event which will take place from 17 to 23 June. [3]

The 2025 FIBA AmeriCup qualification is a basketball competition that is being played from February 2023 to February 2025, to determine the eleven FIBA Americas nations who will join the automatically qualified host Nicaragua at the 2025 FIBA AmeriCup.

The 2022 FIBA 3x3 AmeriCup – Women's tournament is the second edition of this continental championship. The event was held in Miami, United States. It was contested by 13 teams.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">2024 FIBA Under-18 AmeriCup</span> International basketball competition

The 2024 FIBA Under-18 AmeriCup was the 13th ediition of the FIBA Under-18 AmeriCup, a biennial international under-18 basketball tournament. The tournament was held from 3 to 9 June 2024, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. It also served as a qualifying tournament for FIBA Americas in the 2025 FIBA Under-19 Basketball World Cup in Switzerland.

The FIBA U17 Women's Centrobasket is an under-17 women's basketball tournament held about every two years among 31 countries of Central America and the Caribbean and is organized in part by FIBA Americas. The tournament serves as a gateway to the FIBA Under-18 Women's AmeriCup. Originally, this competition was played in the under-18 age category, and since 2009 it has been played in the under-17 age category.
