The 2024 Greek Women's Cup is the 9th edition of the Greek women's association football national cup organized by the Hellenic Football Federation (HFF). The cup was last held in 2017 with PAOK being the defending champions.

PAOK won their 7th title by beating AEK on penalties in the final. [3]

Schedule and format

In the first phase, teams from the same municipality or/and from the same region will compete. The championship will initially be played in eight (8) groups. The division of the teams into groups will take place based on geographical criteria, with exceptions for island clubs.

All ties are played in a single-match decider at the home ground of the lower division opponent. If both sides belong to the same tier, the team that was guest in previous round will be the host or a draw will be held. [4]

The Pan-Hellenic Women's Football Championship, also known as the Panelinio Protathlima or Women's Alpha Ethniki, is the highest professional women's football league in Greece.

The 2000–01 Greek Football Cup was the 59th edition of the Greek Football Cup.

The 2002–03 Greek Football Cup was the 61st edition of the Greek Football Cup. That season's edition was entitled "Vodafone Greek Cup" for sponsorship reasons.

The 2000–01 season was Olympiacos's 42nd consecutive season in the Alpha Ethniki and their 75th year in existence. The club were played their 4th consecutive season in the UEFA Champions League. In the beginning of the summertime Olympiacos named Greek Takis Lemonis coach.

The 1999–00 season was Olympiacos's 41st consecutive season in the Alpha Ethniki and their 74th year in existence. The club were played their 3rd consecutive season in the UEFA Champions League. In the beginning of the summertime Olympiacos named Italian Alberto Bigon coach.

In the 2001–02 season Panathinaikos played for 43rd consecutive time in Greece's top division, Alpha Ethniki. The club also competed in the UEFA Champions League and the Greek Cup.

The 2013–14 Greek Football Cup was the 72nd edition of the Greek Football Cup. A total of 46 clubs, 16 less than last edition, were accepted to enter. The competition commenced on 14 September 2013 with the first round and concluded on 26 April 2014 with the final at the Olympic Stadium between Panathinaikos and PAOK, with Panathinaikos winning 4–1.

A total of 73 clubs were accepted to enter, 16 from the Super League, 16 from the Football League and the 41 previous season local FCA Cup winners. PAOK won the competition for third consecutive year beating AEK Athens 1–0 in the final held at the Olympic Stadium.

The 2020–21 Greek Football Cup was the 79th edition of the Greek Football Cup. It took place with the participation of the 14 clubs from the Super League 1, as there was no competitive action in the lower divisions until early January due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Hellenic Football Federation decided that the Cup would be held with the participation of teams only from the Super League, which was running normally. The winner of the Cup qualified for the next season's Europa Conference League third qualifying round.
