2024 Netherlands Women's Tri-Nation Series

The 2024 Netherlands Women's Tri-Nation Series was a pair of cricket series that was contested by the national teams of Netherlands, Scotland and Papua New Guinea in August 2024. [1] The teams contested a One Day International (ODI) series in the format of a double round-robin, which was followed by a Twenty20 International (T20I) series that was played as a single round-robin. [2]

The 2015–2017 ICC World Cricket League Championship was the second edition of the ICC World Cricket League Championship. Both Ireland and Afghanistan had been promoted to the main ICC ODI Championship and did not compete in this tournament. Instead, Kenya and Nepal were included in the tournament. The 2015–2017 ICC Intercontinental Cup was the seventh edition of the ICC Intercontinental Cup, an international first-class cricket tournament between leading associate members of the International Cricket Council (ICC). The tournament took place during 2015 to 2017. It ran in parallel with the 2015–17 ICC World Cricket League Championship, but with slightly different teams. As Ireland and Afghanistan had qualified for the ICC One Day International Championship ranking qualification process, they were replaced by Kenya and Nepal in the limited over event; however they continued to play the four-day event.

After the series, Scotland were at the top of the points table, after finishing ahead of Oman on net run rate, with both teams level on points.

The 2019 United States Tri-Nation Series was the second round of the 2019–2023 ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 cricket tournament and took place in the United States in September 2019. It was a tri-nation series between Namibia, Papua New Guinea and the United States cricket teams, with the matches played as One Day International (ODI) fixtures. The ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 formed part of the qualification pathway to the 2023 Cricket World Cup. It was the first One Day International series to be played in the USA.

The 2022 Papua New Guinea Tri-Nation Series was the 11th round of the 2019–2023 ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 cricket tournament, which was played in the United Arab Emirates in April 2022. Originally scheduled to take place in Papua New Guinea, it was moved to the UAE due to travel restrictions. It was a tri-nation series between Oman, Papua New Guinea and the Scotland cricket teams, with the matches played as One Day International (ODI) fixtures. It was a tri-nation series between Namibia, Papua New Guinea and the United States cricket teams, with the matches played as One Day International (ODI) fixtures. The 2021–22 Nepal T20I Tri-Nation Series was a Twenty20 International (T20I) cricket tournament that took place in Nepal from 28 March to 4 April 2022. The participating teams were the hosts Nepal along with Malaysia and Papua New Guinea. The matches were played at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur. On 12 March 2022, the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) confirmed all the fixtures.

The Netherlands women's cricket team toured Thailand in November and December 2022 to play four Women's One Day Internationals (WODIs) and four Women's Twenty20 Internationals (WT20Is). The matches were played at the Royal Chiangmai Golf Club in Mae Faek, Chiang Mai province. The WODI matches were the first played by Thailand since the International Cricket Council granted them ODI status in May 2022.

The 2023 Netherlands Women's Tri-Nation Series was a Twenty20 International (T20I) series which took place in the Netherlands in July 2023. The series was contested by Netherlands, Scotland and Thailand. All the matches of the series were played at Sportpark Maarschalkerweerd in Utrecht. Thailand won the tri-series on net run rate after all three sides earned two wins and two defeats.

The 2023 Malaysia Tri-Nation Series was a Twenty20 International (T20I) cricket series which took place in Malaysia in September 2023. The participating teams were the hosts Malaysia, along with Hong Kong and Papua New Guinea. The venue for the series was the Bayuemas Oval in Klang. Papua New Guinea won the series by remaining unbeaten in all of their matches.

The 2024 Nepal Tri-Nation Series was the first round of the 2024–2026 ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 cricket tournament took place in Nepal in February 2024. The tri-nation series was contested by the men's national teams of Namibia, Nepal and Netherlands. The matches were played as One Day International (ODI) fixtures.

The 2024 Hong Kong Tri-Nation Series was a Twenty20 International cricket tournament that was played in March 2024 in Hong Kong. The participating teams were Hong Kong, Nepal and Papua New Guinea.

The 2024 Netherlands Tri-Nation Series is the fourth round of the 2024–2026 ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 cricket tournament which is taking place in the Netherlands in August 2024. The tri-nation series is being contested by the men's national teams of Canada, Netherlands and United States. The matches are being played as One Day International (ODI) fixtures.

The Papua New Guinea women's cricket team toured Zimbabwe in March and April 2024 to play three One day International (ODI) and three Twenty20 International (T20I) matches against Zimbabwe.

The 2024 United Arab Emirates women's Tri-Nation Series was a cricket tournament that took place in the United Arab Emirates in April 2024. The tri-nation series featured the women's national teams of Papua New Guinea, Scotland and the United States. The matches were played with One Day International (ODI) status. These were the first ever matches to be played with ODI status by the United States women's team.
