2024 New Zealand bravery awards

The 2024 New Zealand bravery awards were announced via a Special Honours List on 6 December 2024. [1] The awards recognised the bravery of various individuals during several events, including the Christchurch mosque shootings on 15 March 2019, the 2021 Dunedin supermarket stabbing, the 2021 Auckland supermarket stabbing, the murder of Matthew Hunt on 19 June 2020, the Auckland Anniversary Weekend floods in January 2023, and Cyclone Gabrielle in February 2023.
