The 2024 Odisha Cricket League was the 3rd edition of the OCL, a franchise Twenty20 cricket league in Odisha, India.The league was first organised by the Odisha Cricket Association in 2020-21. The tournament was played between 30 June 2024 to 21 July 2024. [1]

The 2009 Indian Premier League season, abbreviated as IPL 2 or the 2009 IPL, was the second season of the Indian Premier League, established by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in 2007. The tournament was hosted by South Africa and was played between 18 April and 24 May 2009. The 2014 Indian Premier League season was the seventh season of the Indian Premier League, a professional Twenty20 cricket league established by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in 2007. The tournament featured eight teams, one fewer than in 2013 after the withdrawal of the Pune Warriors India, and was held from 16 April 2014 to 1 June 2014. The opening ceremony was held in the UAE on 15 April 2014. Kolkata Knight Riders won the tournament, defeating Kings XI Punjab by 3 wickets with Manish Pandey declared the man of the match in the final. The average attendance for the tournament was 31,751.

The 2018 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup was an international limited-overs cricket tournament held in New Zealand from 13 January to 3 February 2018. It was the twelfth edition of the Under-19 Cricket World Cup, and the third to be held in New Zealand after the 2002 and the 2010 events. New Zealand became the first country to host the event thrice. The opening ceremony took place on 7 January 2018. The West Indies were the defending champions. The final took place at Cape Town. Australia won their sixth and third consecutive title after beating the hosts South Africa in the final by 19 runs.

The India A cricket team and the West Indies A cricket team played a List-A Tri-series and first-class matches in England between June and July 2018. Prior to Tri Series India A and West Indies A played warm up matches against County Clubs. India A won the tri series.

The 2021–22 CSA T20 Challenge was a Twenty20 cricket tournament that took place in South Africa during February 2022. It replaced the planned 2022 edition of the Mzansi Super League, which was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Imperial Lions were the defending champions.

The India cricket team toured New Zealand in November 2022 to play three One Day Internationals (ODIs) and three Twenty20 International (T20I) matches. The ODI series formed part of the inaugural 2020–2023 ICC Cricket World Cup Super League.
