The Odisha Cricket League (OCL) is a men's Twenty20 (T20) cricket league in the Indian state of Odisha contested by franchise teams. [2] The league is formed in 2020 by the Odisha Cricket Association. It is usually played during summer season from June to July of every year from 2023 seasons. First begun in 2020–21, it is planned to be held annually.

The Caribbean Premier League is an annual Twenty20 cricket tournament held in the Caribbean. It was founded by Cricket West Indies in 2013 to replace the Caribbean Twenty20 as the premier Twenty20 competition in the Caribbean. It is currently sponsored by Republic Bank Limited and consequently officially named the Republic Bank CPL. Nicholas Pooran is a Trinidadian cricketer who currently represents the West Indies cricket team in limited overs formats and occasionally serves as the team's captain. He also competes domestically for Trinidad and Tobago and plays for the Lucknow Super Giants in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Pooran made his international debut for the West Indies in September 2016. In May 2022, he was appointed captain of the West Indies limited-overs team. However, he stepped down from the captaincy in November 2022. Pooran has played 29 matches in the T10 format, scoring 953 runs in 28 innings. His highest score in T10 cricket is 101, and he has recorded 1 century and 7 half-centuries in the format.
