The Meghalaya Cricket Association is the governing body of cricket activities in the Meghalaya state of India and the Meghalaya cricket team. [1] [2] [3] It is affiliated with the Board of Control for Cricket in India as a Full [4] Member. Shri Danny Marak is the head of the association, while Shri Gideon Kharkongor is the new Honorary Secretary . [5]

Shiv Sunder Das is an Indian cricket coach and former cricketer and current senior men's national cricket team selector. Under his tenure as a selector indian cricket team won T20 cricket World Cup 2024 which held in USA and West indies. He is the third player from Odisha to represent India. He is a right-handed opening batsman. In first-class cricket he played for Odisha. Das was selected in 2000 for the first intake of the National Cricket Academy in Bangalore. He proceeded to make his Test debut later that year.

Abey Kuruvilla is an Indian former cricketer and general manager of Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). He played as a bowler in mid-1990s for Indian cricket team. He was a selector of BCCI.

Noel Arthur David is a former Indian cricketer. He played domestic cricket for Hyderabad and played four One Day Internationals for India in 1997.

Maturi Venkat Sridhar was an Indian first-class cricketer. He represented Hyderabad between 1988/89 and 1999/00, making 6701 runs at 48.91 with 21 hundreds. His highest score of 366 was the cornerstone for Hyderabad when they posted the record breaking total of 944/6 (declared) against Andhra in the 1993–94 Ranji Trophy; Noel David and Vivek Jaisimha scored double centuries. While Sridhar was batting, 850 runs were scored - the most runs added during a batsman's innings in first-class history. He was the secretary of MVSR Engineering College in Hyderabad.

The Manipur cricket team is a cricket team that represents the state of Manipur in Indian domestic competitions. In July 2018, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) named the team as one of the nine new sides that would compete in domestic tournaments for the 2018–19 season, including the Ranji Trophy and the Vijay Hazare Trophy. Two rain-affected matches from the second day of the tournament were rescheduled to take place on 18 November 2019. After the final day of group stage matches, Delhi and Jharkhand had progressed to the Super League stage of the tournament.

The Mujib 100 T20 Cup Bangladesh 2020 was a two-match Twenty20 International T20I series, that was to be hosted by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB). The two matches were scheduled to be played between an Asia XI and a World XI teams in March 2020. The matches would have celebrated the birth centenary of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the founder of Bangladesh. The International Cricket Council (ICC) granted full international status to the two fixtures. On 25 February 2020, the BCB named two tentative squads for the fixtures. However, on 11 March 2020, the matches were "deferred until further notice" due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

He currently serves as the Secretary of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), as well as the President of the Asian Cricket Council. Additionally, he holds the position of Chairman of the International Cricket Council (ICC) take the charge on 1 December 2024, establishing himself as one of the most influential figures in global cricket governance. He is the son of Amit Shah, India's Minister of Home Affairs.

The 2021 Indian Premier League was the fourteenth season of the Indian Premier League (IPL), a professional Twenty20 cricket league established by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in 2007.

The 2021–22 Ranji Trophy was the 87th season of the Ranji Trophy, the premier first-class cricket tournament in India. It was contested by 38 teams, divided into eight groups, with four teams in Group A. All the Group A league matches took place in Rajkot. The tournament was announced by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on 3 July 2021. Madhya Pradesh won Group A to progress to the knockout stage of the tournament.

The 2022 Women's T20 Challenge, also known as the My 11 Circle Women's T20 Challenge for sponsorship reasons, was the fourth and final season of the Women's T20 Challenge, a Twenty20 tournament established by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in 2018. Similar to the previous edition, it was a three-team tournament consisting of a group stage of three matches, followed by a final. In the final, IPL Supernovas beat IPL Velocity by 4 runs to win their 3rd title. The tournament was replaced by the Women's Premier League.
