The 2015–16 Ranji Trophy was the 82nd season of the Ranji Trophy, the premier first-class cricket tournament in India. It was contested by 27 teams divided into three groups of nine teams each. The top three teams from Groups A and B advanced to the quarterfinals along with the top two teams from Group C. For this season the schedule splits into two stages, the first is a league stage and the second being a knock-out stage. The league stage starts on 1 October 2015 and ends on 4 December 2015 and the knock-out stage starts on 3 February 2016 and ends on 28 February 2016. The 2015–16 Ranji Trophy will be followed by the Vijay Hazare Trophy, Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy and Deodhar Trophy.

He made his List A debut for Chhattisgarh in the 2016–17 Vijay Hazare Trophy on 25 February 2017.

The 2018–19 Vijay Hazare Trophy was the 17th season of the Vijay Hazare Trophy, a List A cricket tournament in India. It was contested by the 37 domestic cricket teams of India, with nine teams in Group B. The group stage started on 19 September 2018, with the top five teams across Group A and Group B progressing to the quarter-finals of the competition. Delhi, Andhra and Hyderabad all progressed from Group B to the knock-out phase of the tournament.

The international cricket season started in September 2019 with South Africa's tour of India. The T20I series between the nations was drawn 1−1 while India clean swept the test series 3−0. India is currently hosting Bangladesh. India won the T20I series 2−1. India will play 2-match test series against Bangladesh which will include the first day/night test match to be played by either side. India will also host tours from West Indies, Sri Lanka and Australia. India will also host home games for Afghanistan which include tours from West Indies and Ireland. South African women toured India. India won the WT20I series 3–1 and WODI series 3–0. Originally, Zimbabwe were scheduled to tour India in January 2020. However, in September 2019, India cancelled the Zimbabwe series following the ICC's suspension of Zimbabwe Cricket, with Sri Lanka replacing them.
The 2021–22 Ranji Trophy was the 87th season of the Ranji Trophy, the premier first-class cricket tournament in India. It was contested by 38 teams, divided into eight groups, with four teams in Group F. All the Group F league matches took place in Delhi. The tournament was announced by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on 3 July 2021. Punjab won Group F to progress to the knockout stage of the tournament.
