Sourav Chandidas Ganguly, also known as Dada, is an Indian cricket commentator and former cricketer. He is popularly called the Maharaja of Indian Cricket. He was captain of the Indian national cricket team and is regarded as one of India's most successful cricket captains. As captain, he led Indian national team to win the 2002 ICC Champions Trophy and reach the final of the 2003 Cricket World Cup, the 2000 ICC Champions Trophy and the 2004 Asia Cup.

Suresh Raina is an Indian former international cricketer. He occasionally served as stand-in captain for the Indian men's national cricket team as well as in IPL for Chennai Super Kings during the absence of the main captain, MS Dhoni. He played for Uttar Pradesh (UP) in domestic cricket circuit. He is an aggressive left-handed middle-order batsman and occasional off-spin bowler. He is the second-youngest player ever to captain India. He was the captain of Gujarat Lions in the Indian Premier League (IPL), and he also served as vice-captain of the Chennai Super Kings. He is the first Indian batsman to hit a century in all three formats of international cricket. During his time with India, he won the 2011 Cricket World Cup and the 2013 ICC Champions Trophy. Raina made history being the first Indian to score a century in the ICC Men's T20 World Cup, which he did with his 101 runs against South Africa at the 2010 Tournament.
The Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) is the governing body for cricket in the Indian state of West Bengal. It owns the Eden Gardens stadium in Kolkata, where its headquarters are located. CAB is a full member of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and organises various events in West Bengal. It manages the Bengal cricket team, which has competed in domestic tournaments since 1935 and plays its home matches at Eden Gardens.

Harmanpreet Kaur is an Indian cricketer who captains the India women's national team in all formats. She plays as an all-rounder. In 2018, she became the first woman for India to score a century in a T20 International match. Kaur is the only Indian woman cricketer with more than 3,000 runs in T20Is. She is one of only three Indian women to have scored more than 3,000 runs in Women's ODI. In 2019, during the series against South Africa, she became the first Indian cricketer to play in 100 international Twenty20 matches.
Deepti Sharma is an Indian cricketer who plays for Bengal, Birmingham Phoenix and India. She is an all-rounder who bats left-handed and bowls right-arm off break. As of 2018, she was ranked 3rd in the top all-rounders in the ICC Cricket Rankings and had the third highest individual score by a female cricketer in ODIs.
The Bengal women's cricket team is a women's cricket team that represents the Indian state of West Bengal. The team competes in the Women's Senior One Day Trophy and the Women's Senior T20 Trophy. They won the One Day Trophy in 2018–19 in their first and only final so far, beating Andhra in the final by 10 runs.

Arshdeep Singh Aulakh is an Indian professional cricketer who plays for the India national cricket team. In Indian domestic cricket, he plays for Punjab and for Punjab Kings in the Indian Premier League. Arshdeep is a left-arm medium-fast bowler. He was an integral member of the Indian team that won the 2024 T20 World Cup, and was the joint-highest wicket taker of the tournament. Similar to the previous edition, it was a three-team tournament consisting of a group stage of three matches, followed by a final. In the final, IPL Supernovas beat IPL Velocity by 4 runs to win their 3rd title. The tournament was replaced by the Women's Premier League.

Maharaja Trophy KSCA T20 is an Indian domestic Twenty20 cricket tournament organised by the Karnataka State Cricket Association. It replaced the Karnataka Premier League in 2022.
Rajasthan Premier League (RPL) is a men's Twenty20 (T20) cricket league that is annually held in the state of Rajasthan, India. It is contested by six city-based franchise teams. The league is formed in 2023 by the Rajasthan Cricket Association. It is usually played from August to September.
The Bengal Pro T20 League, is a men's and women's Twenty20 (T20) cricket league that is annually held in the Indian State of West Bengal. It is organised by the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) and contested by eight district-based franchise teams. It is usually played during post summer season from June to August of every year.
