The 2024 Tour of Taihu Lake is a men's road cycling stage race which takes place from 9 to 13 October 2024. It is the 12th edition of the Tour of Taihu Lake, which is rated as a 2.Pro event on the 2024 UCI ProSeries calendars.

Alois Kaňkovský is a Czech former professional cyclist, who rode professionally between 2006 and 2021 for the ASC Dukla Praha and Elkov–Kasper teams. At the 2007 UCI Track Cycling World Championships, he became world champion in the omnium event and also won a bronze medal in the madison.
