Marta Kostyuk defeated Varvara Gracheva in the final, 6–3, 7–5 to win the singles tennis title at the 2023 ATX Open. It was her first WTA Tour singles title.

Petra Kvitová defeated Elena Rybakina in the final, 7–6(16–14), 6–2 to win the women's singles tennis title at the 2023 Miami Open. It was Kvitová's first WTA 1000 title since the 2018 Madrid Open, and her 30th career title overall; she also became the first Czech player to win the title. Rybakina was attempting to complete the Sunshine Double, having already won the title at Indian Wells.

Defending champion Katie Boulter defeated Karolína Plíšková in the final, 4–6, 6–3, 6–2 to win the women's singles tennis title at the 2024 Nottingham Open. Boulter became the first woman in the tournament's history to defend the title, and became the second player to win the tournament twice, after Elena Baltacha.

Jessica Pegula defeated Anna Kalinskaya in the final, 6–7(0–7), 6–4, 7–6(7–3) to win the women's singles tennis title at the 2024 Berlin Ladies Open. She saved five championship points en route to her fifth career WTA Tour singles title.

The 2025 ASB Classic is a joint professional men's and women's tennis tournament to be played on outdoor hard courts at the ASB Tennis Centre in Auckland. The 38th edition of the women's event will be held from 30 December 2024 to 5 January 2025 and the 47th edition of the men's event will be held from 6 to 11 January 2025.
