Second Lieutenant John Patrick O’Halloran – 8 August 2025 – For acts of gallantry in action in hazardous circumstances as the Platoon Commander, 5 Platoon, Bravo Company, 6th Battalion, the Royal Australian Regiment during Operation BRIBIE, South Vietnam on 17 February 1967. The Medal for Gallantry replaced the award of the mention in despatches, which was cancelled in the same gazette notice.[7]
