Contents

It is one of two national series for this class of car in Australia - the other is the Australian National Trans-Am Series.

Traditionally run over six rounds as the headline class at the Hi-Tec Oils Super Series, the series has added a seventh round, as a support race at the Bathurst 6 Hour. This race will also be part of the National Trans-Am Series, leading to an expected combined entry grid "in the vicinity of 40 cars" according to the series promoters. [2]
