The Trans-Am Series presented by Pirelli is a sports car racing series held in North America. Founded in 1966, it is sanctioned by the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA). Primarily based in the United States, the series competes on a variety of track types including road courses and street circuits. Trans-Am is split into the TA and TA2 classes for silhouette racing cars, while its production classes are the GT, SGT, and XGT.
Sydney Motorsport Park is a motorsport circuit located on Brabham Drive, Eastern Creek, New South Wales, Australia, adjacent to the Western Sydney International Dragway. It was built and is owned by the New South Wales Government and is operated by the Australian Racing Drivers Club. The circuit is one of only two permanent tracks in Australia with an FIA Grade 2 license and is licensed for both cars and motorcycles.

The 2021 Trans-Am Series season was the 53rd running of the Trans-Am Series. The National Championship began on February 19 and will run for 14 rounds with one being only for TA2 cars and two only paying points for the Pro/Am Challenge. The Pro/Am Challenge was held for the first time to help SCCA competitors try out Trans Am. Points were given for two specific Pro/Am Challenge races and four other races of competitor's choice in either the national Trans Am Series or the Trans Am West Coast Championship. A separate West Coast Championship was also held with some rounds separate from the national series and some together.
Nash Morris is an Australian racing driver. Nicknamed "The Flash", he is the son of former Supercars Championship driver Paul Morris, and drives for his father's Paul Morris Motorsport in the Super2 Series and Trans Am Series Australia. He won the Super3 Series in 2021.

Initially, the rounds at Sydney Motorsport Park and Mount Panorama Circuit were scheduled to be part of the TCR World Tour, but the rounds were removed from that championship due to logistics issues for teams transporting cars in to the country.
The 2024 Dunlop Series was an Australian motor racing competition for Supercars as a support series. It was the twenty-fifth running of the Supercars Development Series, the second tier of competition in Supercars racing. Since joining as a class in 2021 this marked at the same time as the seventeeth and final running of the Super3 Series before being axed in 2025 due to low grid numbers, the third tier of competition in Supercars racing.
The 2024 Fanatec GT World Challenge Australia Powered by AWS is an Australian motor sport competition for GT cars. The series incorporates the "Motorsport Australia GT Championship", the "Motorsport Australia Endurance Championship" and the "GT3 Trophy Series". The Motorsport Australia GT Championship is the 28th running of an Australian GT Championship. This will be the first season of the championship being solely managed by the SRO Motorsports Group. The season will begin on 18 February at the Bathurst 12 Hour at Mount Panorama Circuit and end on 10 November, also at Mount Panorama Circuit.
The 2024 GT4 Australia Series is an Australian motorsport competition for GT4 cars. The championship is the inaugural running of a standalone GT4 Australia Series having split from the Australian Production Car Series at the end of 2023, and will be the first season of the championship being solely managed by the SRO Motorsports Group. Events will be held on the Australian Racing Group's SpeedSeries bill, with the season starting on 14 April at Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit and ending on 10 November at Mount Panorama Circuit.

The category is managed by TA2 Racing Australia, and sanctioned by the Australian Auto Sport Alliance. The category ownership, along with the distribution and parts business, was sold to a group of long-standing series competitors in 2024.
