The 3x3 basketball competition at the 2021 Islamic Solidarity Games was held in Konya, Turkey from 13 to 17 August 2022 in Karatay Congress and Sport Center. [1]

Contents

The Games were originally scheduled to take place from 20 to 29 August 2021. [2] In May 2020, the Islamic Solidarity Sports Federation (ISSF), who are responsible for the direction and control of the Islamic Solidarity Games, postponed the games as the 2020 Summer Olympics were postponed to July and August 2021, due to the global COVID-19 pandemic. 2021 Islamic Solidarity Games

‌The 2021 Islamic Solidarity Games is 5th edition of the event scheduled to be held from 9 to 18 August 2022 at Konya, Turkey under the aegis of Islamic Solidarity Sports Federation (ISSF). It will be the first time in history that the event was organised by the Turkish Olympic Committee.

The volleyball tournaments at the 2021 Islamic Solidarity Games in Konya will be organized between 8 August and 15 August 2022. 24 volleyball teams will participate in the tournament. The volleyball competition will take place at Karatay Congress and Sport Center in Konya.

Handball at the 2021 Islamic Solidarity Games

The handball tournaments at the 2021 Islamic Solidarity Games in Konya will play between 7 August and 14 August 2021. The handball competition will take place at Selçuklu Municipality International Sports Hall in Konya. 4 teams in 2 groups will play in a single round-robin system with a one-day interval between each other, and the group competitions will be completed in the first 6 days. On Day 7, semi-finals are played an on day 8, the third place and final competitions are played. Group winners and runners-up will be cross-matched in the quarter-finals A1-B2 and A2-B1, Winners compete for Gold, and losers for Bronze Medals.

Weightlifting at the 2021 Islamic Solidarity Games

The weightlifting tournaments at the 2021 Islamic Solidarity Games in Konya will be held between 11–15 August 2022. The weightlifting competition will take place at TÜYAP Konya International Fair Center in Konya.

The Bocce event at the 2021 Islamic Solidarity Games was held in Konya, Turkey, from 9 to 12 August 2022.

Kickboxing at the 2021 Islamic Solidarity Games was held in Konya, Turkey from 16 to 18 August 2022 in Selçuklu Municipality Sports Hall.

Table tennis at the 2021 Islamic Solidarity Games will be held in Konya, Turkey from 7 to 11 August 2022 in TÜYAP Konya International Fair Center. Seeded players will be based on ITTF 2021 Individual World Ranking and will be approved by the Technical Delegates. Table Tennis Individual Competitions will be held according to the elimination format, over 7 sets. All matches in Table Tennis Team categories will be played over 5 sets. Para table tennis competitions will be organized in KTO TUYAP Konya International Fair Center between 13–15 August 2022.

Shooting at the 2021 Islamic Solidarity Games will held in Konya, Turkey from 10 to 15 August 2022 in Konya Saraçoğlu Sport Complex.

Gymnastics at the 2021 Islamic Solidarity Games will be held in Konya, Turkey from 10 to 18 August 2022 in Konya Velodrome. Gymnastics competitions will be held between 10–11 August 2022 for Men's Artistic Gymnastics; 17–18 August 2022 for Women's Artistic Gymnastics at Konya Velodrome. Aerobic Gymnastics competitions will be held between 13–14 August 2022 at Konya Velodrome. The Rhytmic Gymnastics competitions will be held on 13–14 August 2022 at Konya Veledrome, Konya-Turkey.

Fencing at the 2021 Islamic Solidarity Games was held in Konya, Turkey from 14 to 17 August 2022 in Selcuk University 19 Mayıs Sport Hall.

Cycling at the 2021 Islamic Solidarity Games was held in Konya, Turkey from 5 to 13 August 2022 in Konya Velodrome. The Road Cycling events of the competitions were held on various routes in Konya and the Track Cycling events were held at the Konya Velodrome.

Wrestling at the 2021 Islamic Solidarity Games were held in Konya, Turkey from 10 to 13 August 2022. Each National Olympic Committee (NOC) has the right to participate with a maximum of one (1) wrestler per weight category in all styles. The maximum number of athletes per delegation is 30.All competitors must be of senior age category. The competitions take place by direct elimination system with an ideal number of wrestlers, i.e. 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, etc. If there is no ideal number of wrestlers in a category, qualification matches will take place. Matching is done in the order of numbers determined by the draw made by UWW. 4 Each weight category begins and ends in a day. The competition takes place in the following format: Elimination rounds, Semi-finals, Repechage rounds, Finals.
