Eight (8) is the second album by New Zealand singer-songwriter Brooke Ligertwood and her eighth solo album overall. It was released on 20 October 2023, via Sparrow Records and Capitol Christian Music Group. [1] The album features guest appearances by Martin Smith and Jon Wilds.

The album produced the single "Bless God". It reached number 21 on the US Hot Christian Songs chart. "Fear of God", "Desert Song", and "Calvary's Enough" were released as promotional singles.

8 debuted at number 6 on the Official Top 20 Aotearoa Albums chart, and at number 21 on the Top Christian Albums chart in the United States. Eight received a GMA Dove Award nomination for Worship Album of the Year at the 2024 GMA Dove Awards.

Release and promotion

Singles

"Fear of God" was released as the lead promotional single of Eight on 25 August 2023, accompanied with its live music video. [2] "Fear of God" debuted at number 5 on the Hot 20 Aotearoa Singles chart.

"Bless God" was released as a single from the album on April 5, 2024. It peaked at number 21 on the Hot Christian Songs chart.

Promotional singles

"Desert Song" was released as the first promotional single followed by "Calvary's Enough".
