Record FM (sometimes called Record Radio or 97.7 Record FM) is an Urban Contemporary radio station in Kampala, Uganda. [1] Under the Brazilian free-to-air commercial television network; Record Network was established on September 27, 1953. It is related to the Brazilian-based Universal Church of the Kingdom of God. Record FM Uganda is at 97.7 MHz, formed in 2010 [2] and covering central, western, and southern Uganda plus some of northern Uganda. [3] [4] [5]

Their slogan is "Tusabula Hits All Day" (loosely translated as "We Play Hits All Day" [6] ). In 2019, 97.7 Record FM was named the Fastest Rising Youth Radio Station by EJazz Media. [7] Bigeye.ug wrote that internally-conducted research showed that 97.7 Record FM was the most listened to station in the central region, that listeners liked the selection of music and programmes, and liked their online presence especially the audio-visual production on its digital platforms. [4]

97.7 Record FM has shows like UG-Breakfast, Hitlab, Big Evening, Hot 7@7 Countdown, Love at Heart, and The Dance Floor by DJ Shiru.

According to a Ugandan publicist at Bryan Morel Publications, Lilian's music style is neo-soul associated with R&B Band tendencies. She was a member of Blu*3. In 2014, she was one of the featured artists in the second season of "Coke Studio Africa".

Undercover Brothers Ug also simply known as Undercover Brothers are a Ugandan music duo composed of guitarist and vocalist Jay K Mulungi and vocalist Timothy Kirya, whose music career sparked off when they won the auditions and represented Uganda in the sixth season of East Africa's biggest singing competition Tusker Project Fame. The duo released their first album titled At Dawn in December 2014. In December 2016, their song Nsikatila was nominated in the Best R&B Song category at HiPipo Music Awards (#HMA) 2017.

Jackie (Jackline) Nake Lumbasi is a Kenyan media personality currently working in Kigali, Rwanda. She co-hosted the Big Breakfast Show on 91.3 Capital FM from 2008 to 2018 with a number of presenters including Gaetano Kagwa, Ramesh Gabalsing, Alan Kasujja, Marcus Kwikiriza and Oulanya as well as read the evening news on UBC in Uganda until 2014.

It was released as the second single from their first EP album and first major release, At Dawn in December (2014) and re-released in January as the first single from their 2016 album, Hitlist. Co-written by the duo's Timothy Kirya and Jay K Mulungi and produced by Jude Mugerwa, the lyrics portray a lover who stammers whenever he talks to his lover.

Born To Conquer (B2C) Entertainment, also known as Kampala Boys, is a Ugandan music group of three musicians who sing together. B2C is made of [Delivad Julio], [Mr. Lee B2C] and [Bobby Lash B2C]. Delivad Julio and Mr. Lee sing with soothing soft RnB vocals while Bobby Lash B2C sings the Ragga and dancehall vibes. The three formed B2C entertainment from school as they were students at Crested secondary school in Makindye Division in Kampala. Because of their consistency, the trio decided to start professional music in 2016 with their breakthrough song known as Tokigeza produced by Diggy Baur.

Ssali Peterson professionally known as Bobby Lash B2C is a Ugandan musician born on 20 April 1992 from Namirembe Hospital in Kampala District in Uganda. Bobby Lash was born to the family of Mr. Ssali Peter and Mrs. Nabukeera Teopista. He is a professional musician signed under the B2C Entertainment record label since 2016.
