ACC Women's T20 Emerging Teams Asia Cup is a Twenty20 cricket tournament. It was created by the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) to develop the talents of the most prominent female young cricketers of full members and associate nations in Asia. [1] [2]

The Asia Cup, officially known as the ACC Men's Asia Cup is a men's international cricket tournament contested between Asian countries in either One Day International format and Twenty20 International format every 2 years. It was established in 1983 when the Asian Cricket Council was founded as a measure to promote goodwill between Asian countries being the only continental championship in cricket where the winning team becomes the champion of Asia. India are the current champions after winning the 2023 edition.

Subordinate to the International Cricket Council, the council is the continent's regional administrative body, and currently consists of 27 member associations. Jay Shah is the current president of Asian Cricket Council.

It crowns the best associate team in Asia and also serves as the final qualification pathway towards the Asia Cup. It evolved from the former ACC Trophy Elite cricket competition. The inaugural edition of the tournament took place in April and May, 2023 with Nepal as the host. Currently, It's the top tier tournament for associate teams in Asia.

Nizakat Khan is a Pakistani-born Hong Kong cricketer. An all-rounder, Khan is a right-handed batsman who bowls leg break. In August 2021, he was named the captain of the Hong Kong cricket team.
Gyanendra Malla is a Nepalese cricket coach and former captain of the Nepal national cricket team, currently serving as head coach of Nepal A team. He was a right-handed batsman and an occasional wicket-keeper. He made his debut against Namibia in March 2006. He was one of the cricketers who played in Nepal's first One Day International (ODI) match, against the Netherlands, in August 2018.
Dipendra Singh Airee is a Nepalese cricketer. In August 2018, he was one of the eleven cricketers to play in Nepal's first-ever One Day International (ODI) match, against the Netherlands. During the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou, China, Airee scored the fastest fifty in T20Is, off just 10 balls, against Mongolia. In April 2024, he became the only third player in T20Is to hit six consecutive sixes in an over, doing it against Qatar in the ACC Premier Cup. He is also dubbed as “The Tiger” for his aggressive batting skills.
Sita Rana Magar is a Nepali cricketer who plays for the women's national cricket team as a left-handed batting all-rounder. She has also been the vice captain of the team.
The 2018 ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup was the third edition of the ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup held in Karachi, Pakistan and Colombo, Sri Lanka. Eight teams participated in the tournament including five under-23 age level teams of Test nations and top three teams from 2018 Asia Cup Qualifier. This tournament was organized by the Asian Cricket Council (ACC). Initially, Pakistan was sole host for the tournament but India and BCCI refused to send Indian players to Pakistan. Following the increasing political tensions between India and Pakistan, ACC announced that Sri Lanka would be the co-host whilst India's matches and knockout stage will be played there. The U-23 teams from India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Pakistan qualified for the semi-finals. Sri Lanka's U-23 defeated India U-23 by 3 runs in the final to win the tournament.
The 2019 ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup was the fourth edition of the ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup held in Bangladesh between 14 and 23 November 2019. Eight teams participated in the tournament, including five under-23 age level teams of Test nations and the top three teams from the 2018 Asia Cup Qualifier. The tournament was organized by the Asian Cricket Council (ACC). Nepal replaced the United Arab Emirates, after they pulled out due to an unknown reason. Nepal qualified on virtue of being fourth in the Asia Cup qualifier.
