Cricket Federation of Uzbekistan (CFU) is the governing body for cricket in Uzbekistan. [1] The Cricket Federation of Uzbekistan was registered on 29 November 2019, by the Ministry of Justice of Uzbekistan. The founder of the Cricket Federation of Uzbekistan is Mr. Aziz Gaybullaevich Mihliev and he currently acts as a President of the Cricket Federation of Uzbekistan. The formation of the Cricket Federation indicates that Uzbekistan is the second country in Central Asia where cricket was founded. Cricket is developing at a fast pace in Uzbekistan and the number of cricket athletes is increasing. [ citation needed ]
The "ANFA-Tashkent T20" tournament which took place on 1, 2, 3 November 2020 among local cricket teams became a historical event in the sport of cricket in Uzbekistan. The competition was held together with the leadership of the National Olympic Committee, representatives of the Ministry of Physical Culture and Sports and the Cricket Federation of Uzbekistan. Several media outlets also reported on the event.
In March 2021, Uzbekistan announced for the launch of a T20 cricket league that would be played in August, 2021. [2]

The Caribbean Premier League is an annual Twenty20 cricket tournament held in the Caribbean. It was founded by Cricket West Indies in 2013 to replace the Caribbean Twenty20 as the premier Twenty20 competition in the Caribbean. Minor League Cricket is an American Twenty20 cricket developmental league for Major League Cricket which completed its first season in 2021, after it was delayed from a mid-to-late 2020 start due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It consists of 26 teams from four regions. The league began its regional draft process in late-August 2020, and a series of exhibition games in September 2020. The draft for the league began on June 4, 2021. The Strikers won the inaugural finals against the New Jersey Stallions by six wickets, with the Thunderbolts winning the 2022 finals against the Atlanta Fire by ten runs.
The PCB Women's Twenty20 Tournament, previously the National Triangular T20 Women's Cricket Championship, is a women's domestic Twenty20 competition organised by the Pakistan Cricket Board. The tournament first took place in 2019–20, with three teams taking part: PCB Blasters, PCB Challengers and PCB Dynamites. The tournament expanded to four teams in 2022–23, with the addition of PCB Strikers. The competition has run alongside the PCB Triangular One Day Women's Tournament.
