Mexico is an Associate member of the International Cricket Council (ICC). Mexico joined the ICC as an Affiliate in 2004 and became an associate member [1] in 2017. Mexico is included in the ICC Americas region.

The Mexico Cricket Association is the official governing organ for cricket in Mexico and it is based at the Reforma Athletic Club, Reforma San Pablo, San Juan Totoltepec, Naucalpan de Juarez, State of Mexico (part of the Mexico City Metropolitan Area). The Mexican cricket season runs from late September to late May.

There is a 20-over league in which four teams - Mexico Union Cricket Club, Aztecs, Aguilas, and Reforma - compete for the Lincoln Clarke Trophy. 20-over social games are held, including an Ambassador's Cup, Cricketers vs Footballers, India vs Pakistan, ANZAC Day, and Asia vs Rest of the World. All league and social games are played at the Reforma Athletic Club. The Reforma Athletic Club has the second highest turf wicket in the world. [2] A weekend sixes tournament takes place in Tequisquiapan, a small town to the north of Mexico City.

The Mexico Cricket Association has a junior development programme – Las Iguanas – where boys and girls between the ages of 8 and 13 are taught cricket at the Reforma Athletic Club, including hand eye coordination skills, batting, bowling, and fielding technique, and the spirit of cricket, Cricket is also taught to school children in Tequisquiapan.

Mexico sends an international team to take part in the biennial 20-over Central American Championships and the annual 20-over South American Championships. The Mexico Cricket Association was instrumental in setting up the first Central American Championships in Belize in 2006, and went on to both host and win the tournament the following year. Mexico won the tournament again in 2013. Mexico made its debut in the 2014 edition South American Championships in Peru and won the tournament.

Mexico also hosts international touring teams. The Mexico Cricket Association welcomed the Marylebone Cricket Club to Mexico for the first time in March 2017 for a series of 20-over games.

The team is organised by the Chilean Cricket Association, which became an affiliate member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) in 2001 and an associate member in 2017. However, the national side had debuted as early as 1893, when it played Argentina in Santiago. Chile began playing regular international matches in the early 1920s, and, with the exception of a gap during World War II, has continued to do so since then. Until the team affiliated to the ICC, its opponents were almost all other South American teams. It first participated in an ICC tournament in 2006, when it fielded a team in division three of the 2006 ICC Americas Championship. In the South American Championships, which began in 1995, Chile has participated in every edition, but won only twice, in 2011 & 2016.

The team is organised by the Costa Rica Cricket Federation, which became an affiliate member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) in 2002 and an associate member in 2017. Costa Rica's first recorded international match came in April 2002, when it toured Panama and played against the Panamanian national side. The team's first international tournament was the inaugural edition of the Central American Championships, played in Belize in 2006. It has since regularly fielded teams in that tournament, and also made its debut in ICC Americas tournaments in 2010, at the 2010 Division Four event in Mexico.

The team was not revived until 1990, when it participated in the European Cricketer Cup in Guernsey. Since then, Malta has appeared regularly in European Cricket Council tournaments, generally in the lower divisions.

The ICC Americas Championship is a one-day cricket tournament organised by ICC Americas for non-Test national cricket teams in the Americas affiliated with the International Cricket Council. As well as providing the opportunity for national teams to play international matches against teams of a similar standard, it also provides qualification into the ICC World Cricket League.

ICC Americas is an international body which oversees cricket in countries in the Americas. It is a subordinate body to the International Cricket Council (ICC). The organisation currently has 17 members, located in Northern America, Central America, South America, and the Caribbean, and is responsible for the development, promotion and administration of the game in the above regions.

The Asociación Peruana de Cricket or Cricket Peru is the official governing body of the sport of cricket in Peru. Cricket Peru is Peru's representative at the International Cricket Council and is an associate member and has been a member of that body since 2007. It is included in the ICC Americas region.

Cricket in the United States is a sport played at the amateur, club, intercollegiate and international competition levels with little popularity, with 200,000 players across the country. Minor League Cricket is the highest level of domestic T20 cricket currently played in America, with T20 being the format of the game that much of the recent growth in American cricket is occurring in.

The club is mostly known for its football team that played in the Liga Mexicana de Football Amateur Association prior to the development of the professional Mexican first division. The squad currently plays in an amateur league in Mexico City.

Cricket is a growing sport in Brazil, presently in nascent stages. Interest in the sport dates back earlier than 1860, which saw the establishment of the country's first official cricket ground, but it wasn't until 2003 that Brazil became a member of the International Cricket Council and emerged onto the world stage. Since then, cricket has become increasingly popular among native Brazilians, with the formation of a women's team and several junior competitions.

The ICC World Test Championship is a league competition for Test cricket run by the International Cricket Council (ICC), which started on 1 August 2019. It is intended to be the premier championship for Test cricket. It is in line with the ICC's goal of having one pinnacle tournament for each of the three formats of international cricket.

The Brazil women's national cricket team represents the country of Brazil in women's cricket matches. The team made its international debut in 2007, with Brazil having been a member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) since 2002. Brazil is one of the leading teams in the ICC Americas region, along with the United States and Canada, but is yet to qualify for any global tournaments.
