Serbian Cricket Federation , also known as Kriket federacija Srbije is the official governing body of the sport of cricket in Serbia. Its current headquarters is in Belgrade, Serbia. [1] Serbian Cricket Federation is the Serbian representative at the International Cricket Council and is an affiliate member and has been a member of that body since June 2015. It is also a member of the ICC Europe. [2] Since 2017, they are an associate member. [3]

Two clubs Stari Grad and Mirijevo were founded in Belgrade in 2007. This is when cricket finally found its place in Serbia. From October 2007, key persons Haris Dajč, Vladimir Ninković, Darko Ivić, Nenad Dugić and Amberish Sarang (ex-Maharashtra cricketer) started organizing cricket training.
The core of cricketers in Serbia consists of its own domestic players, unlike many other Eastern and Southern European cricket teams. In addition to domestic players, the teams are composed of expats such as Indians, Pakistanis, British and New Zealanders. [4]
The development of Cricket in Serbia paved the way for the establishment of the Serbian Cricket Federation (SCF) in 2009, and the first national 40 over and T20 championship in the country. [5]

Stari Grad is a municipality of the city of Belgrade. It encompasses some of the oldest sections of urban Belgrade, thus the name. Stari Grad is one of the three municipalities that occupy the very center of Belgrade, together with Savski Venac and Vračar.

The Belgian Cricket Federation (BCF), currently branded as Cricket Belgium, is the governing body of the sport of cricket in Belgium. Founded in 1990, the organisation has been a member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) since 1991, and is also a member of the ICC Europe and the Belgian Olympic Committee. Its headquarters are in Edegem, a municipality in the province of Antwerp. A previous national governing body had been established in the early 20th century, but fell away during the Second World War.
FK BASK is a football club from Savski Venac, Belgrade, Serbia. It is one of the oldest clubs in Serbia. The club currently competes in the Serbian League Belgrade. BASK are the initials of Beogradski akademski sportski klub.
The history of cricket in Pakistan predates the creation of the country in 1947. The first international cricket match in what is now Pakistan today was held in Karachi on 22 November 1935 between Sindh and Australia. The match was seen by 5,000 Karachiites. Cricket was introduced by the British during their colonial rule of British India, which covered the area now known as Pakistan. Cricket is the most popular sport in the country. The Pakistan Cricket Board controls all domestic cricket in Pakistan and the national teams. Pakistan is an official member of the International Cricket Council and the Asian Cricket Council. Regarded as one of the best and most passionate cricketing nations, Pakistan has won the Cricket World Cup in 1992, ICC T20 World Cup in 2009, the ICC Champions Trophy in 2017, the ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup in 2004 and 2006, the ACC Asia Cup in 2000 and 2012. Pakistan were runner ups in the 1999 Cricket World Cup and 2007 and 2022 T20 World Cups. Pakistan have also been runner ups in several Asia Cup editions.
Cricket in Ireland is governed by Cricket Ireland, which maintains the Ireland men's and women's cricket teams. Like several other sports in Ireland, cricket is organised on an all-Ireland basis. Following the team's success in the 2007 Cricket World Cup, the sport's popularity increased in Ireland. The country was, until 2017, an associate member of the International Cricket Council and played in tournaments like the World Cricket League and ICC Intercontinental Cup, which are qualifying rounds for associate teams for the Cricket World Cup and ICC World Twenty20. Ireland qualified for the 2009 ICC World Twenty20, the 2011 Cricket World Cup and 2010 ICC World Twenty20. In the 2011 World Cup, they beat England in the group matches.
Cricket in the United States is a sport played at the amateur, club, intercollegiate and international competition levels with little popularity, with 200,000 players across the country. Major League Cricket is the highest level of domestic T20 cricket currently played in America, with T20 being the format of the game that much of the recent growth in American cricket is occurring in.

The ICC Women's T20 World Cup is the biennial international championship for women's Twenty20 International cricket. The event is organised by the sport's governing body, the International Cricket Council (ICC), with the first edition having been held in England in 2009. For the first three tournaments, there were eight participants, but this number has been raised to ten from the 2014 edition onwards. In July 2022, the ICC announced that the Bangladesh would host the 2024 tournament and that England would host the 2026 tournament. The number of teams in at the 2026 tournament is also set to increase to twelve.
The Serbian Water polo League A is the highest level of men's water polo in Serbia and it is organized by the Water polo Federation of Serbia.
Amateur cricket began in Serbia in 2007 when two clubs, Stari Grad and Mirijevo, were founded in Belgrade. Haris Dajč, Vladimir Ninković, Darko Ivić and Nenad Dugić started organizing cricket training with the help of ex-Maharashtra player Mr. Amberish Sarang in October 2007. Soon new members and enthusiasts were added. With the help and support from Ms. Katherine Lawrence from the embassy of the United Kingdom, as well as gentlemen Nandikesh Nayar and Vimal Kumar Yadav from the embassy of the Republic of India, the full equipment was obtained as well as new instructors and players.
The France women's national cricket team is the team that represents the country of France in international women's cricket matches. They became an associate member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) in 1998, having previously been an affiliate member since 1987.
The 2021–22 Associate international cricket season was from September 2021 to April 2022. All official twenty over matches between Associate members of the ICC were eligible to have full Twenty20 International (T20I) or Women's Twenty20 International (WT20I) status, as the International Cricket Council (ICC) granted T20I status to matches between all of its members from 1 July 2018 and 1 January 2019. The season included all T20I/WT20I cricket series mostly involving ICC Associate members, that were played in addition to series covered in International cricket in 2021–22.
The Bulgaria cricket team toured Serbia from 8 to 9 July 2022 to play a three-match Twenty20 International (T20I) bilateral series against hosts Serbia. Bulgaria won their previous series earlier in June during the 2022 Sofia Twenty20. The series was played at the Lisicji Jarak Cricket Ground in Belgrade. The series provided both teams with preparation for the 2022–23 ICC Men's T20 World Cup Europe Qualifier subregional tournaments.
