AHJ is an extended play by American singer-songwriter, Albert Hammond Jr. The EP is produced by frequent The Strokes collaborator, Gus Oberg, [1] and was recorded in Hammond's Broome St., Manhattan studio, as well as One Way Studios in upstate New York. [1] It was released on October 8, 2013, and comprises five songs (though non-Cult Web Store digital versions omit "Carnal Cruise"). [9] Hammond Jr. toured in support of the EP from October 2013 [10] to 2014.[ citation needed ]

Adam Gnade is a San Diego, California-born American musician and author currently living on a farm in rural Kansas. In his bio he defines his music as "talking-songs", which he describes as mixing the spoken vocals of talking blues songs with country music, Appalachian folk, noise, psychedelic folk and drone music influences. His work is issued as a series of records and books, which continue the stories of each other's characters and further develop plot-lines. Will Varley Musical artist

Will Varley is an English singer-songwriter, musician and visual artist. He is one of the founding members of the arts collective Smugglers Records. Since self releasing his debut album Advert Soundtracks in 2011 he has toured extensively across the world as a headline act and opened for the likes of Billy Bragg, Valerie June, The Dead South and The Proclaimers. He has headlined venues including Union Chapel and Shepherd's Bush Empire. Will’s songs have been covered by acts as diverse as The Pretty Things and Frank Turner. In recent years Will has co-written songs with numerous artists including Skin of Skunk Anansie and Shae Dupuy. His fifth studio album The Spirit of Minnie was released in 2018.

Gus Oberg is a Swedish music producer and recording engineer. He is best known as the longtime engineer and a producer of American rock band The Strokes, for whom he has worked since 2009. Oberg is also a close collaborator of Strokes guitarist Albert Hammond Jr. and has worked on every one of his solo records. Since the late 2000s, Oberg has produced numerous indie rock albums and has often worked with Hammond Jr. or Johnny T Yerington as a producing partner. Oberg was awarded a Grammy Award in 2006 for his engineering work.
