Union Culturelle et Sportive des Travailleurs Port Autonome is a Senegalese football club based in Dakar. Their home stadium is Stade Port Autonome. The club is named after the city and country's main shipping port the Autonomous Port of Dakar, it is also the ninth-busiest port in Africa.
Port Autonome also is ninth in the number of major honours won in Senegal numbering five, shared with ASC Linguère of Saint-Louis and Djambars FC.
Their first title was won in 1990 and won their second straight in 1991. Their third and recent was in 2005. Port Autonome's first cup final appearance was in 1990 and faced ASC Linguère and lost 1–0. Their first and only cup title was won in 2000 after defeating ASC Saloum of Kaolack 4–0; this was Port Autonome's recent cup final appearance. Also in the same year they won their only Assemblée Nationale Cup.
The club was relegated in the 2010 season to the Senegal Ligue 2. [1] They returned again to Ligue 1 in 2013 and remained until they were relegated in the 2014–15 season after finishing last with 20 points, eight behind AS Pikine and with 14 losses. [2]
Port Autonome's first appearance in the League Cup was in 2009. The club advanced up to the quarterfinals and lost to AS Douanes 2–0. In the 2010 edition, the club advanced up to the semis and lost to ASC Diaraf 2–0. For a short time in late 2013, Casa Sport shared the number of honors won with Port Autonome; up to that time, Porto Autonome was ranked eighth.

Association Sportive et Culturelle Jeanne d'Arc or ASC Jeanne d'Arc for short is a Senegalese football club based in Dakar. It was founded in 1923 and one of the oldest in the country. They play at the Stade Léopold Sédar Senghor. The club currently plays in National 1. Since 1975, the club is second with the most championship titles numbering ten, one less than ASC Diaraf. The total honors that Jeanne d'Arc has won is 25, second after Djaraf.

If the national league champion also wins the FA cup then the second place club in league 1 competes. The winner of the FA cup qualifies for the continental CAF Confederation Cup.

The season began in late in the mid year on 26 June and finished late on 23 November. It was the first year they played at a professional level, also it was the final season it was titled "Division", the following year would become a "League". AS Douanes won their fifth title, the next club to win three consecutive titles. AS Douanes along with Casa Sport would compete in the 2009 CAF Champions League the following season. ASC Diaraf who won the 2008 Senegalese Cup participated in the 2009 CAF Confederation Cup, along with ASC Yakaar after defeating ASC HLM in a Confederation Cup qualification barrage.

ASC Linguère won their first and only title, the next club to win three consecutive titles, and a year later would compete in the 2010 CAF Champions League. ASC Diaraf who won the 2008 Senegalese Cup participated in the 2009 CAF Confederation Cup. Since that season, only one club each would qualify into the continental championship or cup, the winner of each. The West African Cup was again revived and brought two clubs, a second place club from Ligue 1 and a second placed Senegalese Cup club.

The 2015–16 Ligue 1 is the 51st season of top-tier football in Senegal and the eighth professional season. The season began on 8 November 2015. Gorée, an island based club though plays at Dakar's stadium clinched their fourth league title and first since 1984 in the league's final week with a 3–0 road win over last-place Olympique Ngor. In the cup competition, NGB ASC Niarry Tally, winner of the 2015 Senegalese Cup will participate for the first time in the 2017 CAF Confederation Cup the following season. Gorée participated in Ligue 2 and finished second in the previous season, one of the few clubs who was in the top of second-tier competition last season to win a title of a first tier competition in West Africa.

ASC Jeanne d'Arc a Senegalese professional association football club, has gained entry to Confederation of African Football (CAF) competitions on several occasions. They have represented Senegal in the Champions League on nine occasions, the now-defunct Cup Winners' Cup on four separate occasions, and the now-defunct CAF Cup on two occasions. Their overall representation is second behind Diaraf but is the Senegalese club who had the highest achievement being a finalist which was the 1998 CAF Cup. Both Jeanne d'Arc and Diaraf are Semifinalists at the CAF Champions League.
